The prepatch/TWW will come out end of August 2024 because the Black Market vendor is selling cosmetics and telling us they're only available until the end of August. Why would they say August? Because the BMAH moves with every xpac.

I feel like with plunder storm that a lot of the anxiety may have been a little misplaced because at first it was a little daunting to me too. I’m not a PVP person really at all. But after tinkering around and running the matches for a couple hours, I quickly got into it and, made it to level 20 renowned before they doubled the XP. after that, it really just took me a few short sessions to hit 40 renown. Not knowing at first kind of made it a little exciting I’m not gonna lie.

Having 3 months to grind Bronze is actually insane if you think about how fast you can farm it. There are spots in Pandaria that are basically made to constantly grind mobs and I'm all here for it.

If you want everything from the event, it's like 2.5 million bronze. I barely had 6k by level 25. You'll need around 26k bronze a day to get everything by the end. For people who work, that number can double or triple. The more items you have from retail, the lower the bronze you need, obviously, but 26k a day is crazy when most may take a week to level the first toon. I did the math for myself, and I'm looking at 50k a day for the days I can play. Unless there's a REALLY lucrative way to farm bronze, remix may get boring fast and stop people not only from leveling more through remix but also from playing live besides choosing between WoW and real world commitments.

Actually, PC Gamer did an interview about a month ago with Blizz, and during the interview he asked if War Within is in September or past and they told him it's not that far. He also predicted 10.2.7 to be mid May (confirmed real now), and August 20th to be the release for TWW, so...

I might be wrong, but I think them making an event centered around MOP is a clue that they'll stop classic at Cata, and they might switch full-time to classic + if anything. To me it's too strange releasing MOP content right around cata classic and then making MOP classic. They probably have something in store. Or maybe it's just to capitalize on the cata hate, soften the blow of cata, and try to lure the people who loved MOP instead back to retail. But then it's still going to be weird (to me anyway) when they release MOP classic. OR, maybe they'll release something like "Classic : the complete experience" and it's like classic-TBC-WOTLK condensed in something like 6 months.I'm probably thinking about stuff they're actuallly thinking about this very moment.

I just hope the acquisition rate of bronze is such that it's feasible to get enough of it to at least get all of the mounts and some of the transmog over the projected 3 month window without having to absolutely no life the game.. Also consider that season 4 of retail is up at the same time so you'll possibly be grinding bullion there for transmog/gear.. it's a lot in a short timeframe. Doubling the rate in the last couple weeks is better than nothing (plunderstorm) but maybe they'll be smart and start the drop rate higher at the start of mop remix *fingers crossed*

Hunter is viable all specs but Beast Mastery is the best and Survival is melee and squishy. DK is good for Blood and Unholy but Frost is really lacking right now. Evoker is viable all specs but in higher end content almost exclusively Augmentation is played

There's a lot of good things here, but there is one major part of this new timeline I am not a fan of, and I want to hear everyone elses opinion. I'm not a fan of the shortened expansion length, it's always been two years, and it having been shortened to me, feels as though I do not have the time to do what I need too. I will say, completely droughts of content for long periods of time is not healthy, but I do not think two major patches per expansion is enough. I would be very happy and feel as though every expansion is lived to it's fullest if we had the same 2 year timeline, but with 3 major patches instead of 2, like it used to be. That would reduce the content drought and give us full duration expansions. It never quite hit me the right way that the first major patch of the expansion was, "half way through the content."

Its all about money . You'll pay more often for expansions if they release them faster. But if TWW opens up late august it will be only 3 months faster than every 2 years . Its like crafting system you need lots of gold to get crafting orders done so players with no time to play to farm gold have to buy token with real money.

I could tell 5.2 had a rough unpolished look to it, less voice acting than the rest of the expansion before it, among other things, so they were a little short on resources even for that. Blizzard has been consistent with their road maps the entire way through dragonflight and people still doubt them. Learn to see a pattern when it exists guys.... Every content patch in dragonflight has been 7 - 9 weeks long... That places pre-patch on 2nd or 9th or july.... and TWW launch at about august 20th or 27th... most likely the 27th as there is almost always wind down week... all this september non-sense is just coming from lack of trust in blizzard... But they've been exceedingly consistent throughout dragonflight...
