The song reflects what the Kul'Tirans knew about Jaina (that she betrayed her father and the Kul'Tirans) and not the fact that her father wanted to attack the orcs and Jaina tried to stop him. That's why they all say "beware the daughter of the sea".

Simple version. The long story would have his perspectives, his reasons for his perspectives, and his lack of understanding for the crisis unfolding. Part is deeply ingrained disdain for the orcs(remember, the orcs that first came to Azeroth served the demons, fought to conquer the world they invaded, were bloodthirsty and cruel in the extreme). But a large part, is actually some pretty damn reasonable suspicion with an eye towards history. What isn't so reasonable, is not being willing to truly talk about it, to at least try and convince a family member. But then, that is his background story in a nutshell, his history with the orcs.

Well, they did all die to the Horde's bomb, so they won't be saying or thinking anything anymore. Their memories and their fate haunt Jaina as she reflects on her past naivete and comes to a more mature understanding of conflict and coexistence.

Jaina is my favourite character in Warcraft, and this is my favourite thing Blizzard has ever done - I've watched it multiple hundreds of times. On another channel's reaction video I gave a full history of Jaina, I will write it here too for anyone that is interested and wants to know the character in detail. It is long though so only read if you want! Here's Jaina's story. Originally from Kul'Tiras, which is part of the Alliance of Lordaeron, Alterac, Stormwind, Dalaran etc that formed to fight against the Horde before the events of the Lich King. There were 2 large scale wars between the humans of this Alliance (as well as their Dwarf and Elf allies) against the Orcish Horde. Kul'Tiras is basically the England of Azeroth, a relatively small Island nation known for their Navy. The ruler of Kul'Tiras is not a king or queen or president or prime minister, but known as the Lord Admiral. Jaina is the daughter of the Lord Admiral, Daelin Proudmoore, which makes her akin to a princess. She was just a toddler during the events of the First War and around 10 years old at the time of the Second War in which one of her brothers was killed by the Orcs. At about that time it is discovered that she has magical abilities and so moved to the mainland of Lordaeron to study where she resided in Dalaran, City of Mages, and learned under the tutelage of Archmage Antonidas, leader of the organisation that runs the city, the Kirin Tor. She also met Arthas here, Prince of Lordaeron, with whom she had a brief romance before they agreed to focus on their duties. After roughly 10 years living in Dalaran, she is a respected mage in her own right, and the Kingdom of Lordaeron starts to be afflicted by a plague. This causes Arthas, Uther and Jaina to find the source of the plague - infected grain - leading them to the City of Stratholme. I believe you two have already seen the cinematic where Arthas decides to cull the infected population but Jaina and Uther refuse to help and walk away. You have also seen the cinematic of the King and his council being approached by the Prophet who turns into a Raven - Medivh. Finding that the King and Nobles wont listen Medivh instead approaches Jaina, telling her that the plague will run rampant and the Scourge will take Lordaeron. That she should gather those people that she can and sail West, to another Continent - Kalimdor - Home of the Night Elves. He also approaches a group of Orcs imprisoned in prisoner of war / internment camps in Lordaeron and speaks to Thrall, advising him to escape with his people and also sail West to Kalimdor. Both Jaina and Thrall heed Medivh's warnings and leave Lordaeron as it begins to fall to the Scourge led by the now corrupted Arthas. Dalaran is overrun and her mentor Antonidas is slain. King Terenas is murdered by Arthas, as you have seen, and the Kingdom crumbles. Soon after the Scourge have taken Lordaeron they move North to invade Silvermoon, home of the High Elves, of which Sylvanas is the Military Leader. The High Elves also fall to the Scourge - which is what you see in the Sylvanas Warbringers cinematic here - and Sylvanas is raised as a Banshee. Over in Kalimdor, away from these events, Jaina and her Alliance refugees run into a group of Orcs (led by the aggressive and corrupted Grom) and initially fight. But soon after she meets Thrall and Cairne (the leader of the more peaceful race of Tauren) and Medivh intervenes to stop them from fighting, urging them to work together to confront a greater foe - the demons of the Burning Legion - which would soon threaten Azeroth. The local inhabitants of Kalimdor are the Night Elves who know nothing about the two new groups on their land but assume they are dangerous, and harry both Jaina and Thrall until Thrall receives a vision leading them to meet the leaders of the Night Elves. Once again Medivh mediates the meeting and convinces them to all join forces to defeat the Burning Legion. (Medivh by the way had been disguised as a simple prophet, but he is what is known as a Guardian. Guardians are the result of a secret, ancient organisation which gathers power from multiple individuals and pours it into a single being, in order to fight against the most dangerous enemies the world might face which tends to be the Burning Legion. Medivh had been corrupted by one of the leaders of the Legion before he was even born, though he didn't know it, and was an unwitting pawn who opened the Dark Portal, the device by which the demon corrupted Orcs first appeared on Azeroth and began the First War. He was now returned in his right mind and trying to fix his past mistakes. This is sort of side information but it might help you understand Azeroth's history.) The Humans under Jaina, Orcs and Tauren under Thrall and Cairne, and Night Elves under Tyrande and Malfurion team up to battle against the Burning Legion under Archimonde at the very important World Tree, and with the aid of the spirits of nature and dead Night Elves defeated him. That concludes the Third War. Jaina takes her people and founds a city on the Eastern Coast of Kalimdor which she names Theramore, which maintains peace with the Orcs and Night Elves. Before long, however, her father shows up looking for her. You see, of all the Human Kingdoms that allied against the Orcs for multiple bloody wars, two remained after the events of the Scourge invasion. Lordaeron died with its King, Dalaran was all but destroyed, Alterac and Arathi were pretty much wiped out. They still technically existed but were struggling to rebuild their civilisations. Even the High Elves were obliterated, very few of their population survived. Stormwind however is located far South of Lordaeron, Alterac, etc, and though it had been mostly destroyed during the First War, was now rebuilt and repopulated, and the strong Dwarves of Ironforge were between Lordaeron and Stormwind. Geographically it was unaffected by the Plague and became the new seat of the old Alliance as well as the most powerful human Kingdom. Kul'Tiras, by virtue of it being an Island Nation, also was spared the effects of the Scourge invasion and plague. The reasons for Jaina travelling West were unknown to the larger human populace, and so her father, Lord Admiral Daelin Proudmoore, gathered his fleets to sail after her out of genuine love and worry for his dear daughter. When he arrived and he saw Orc populations he defaulted into attacking. Unfortunately no one in the Eastern Kingdoms really knew that Jaina and Thrall had worked together to defeat a greater foe and had diplomacy working for them. All Daelin sees is the race that caused two consecutive wars that devastated his people and his allies, that he had been fighting against repeatedly for 20 odd years, and the ones that killed his own son. He sees this race in the same place he is looking for his beloved daughter and attacks out of instinct, hatred for them and a desire to protect Jaina from their assumed threat. So Daelin comes to Theramore and is utterly confused by the fact that Jaina is working alongside the Orcs. She tries to explain that there are more dangerous enemies (the Scourge and the Burning Legion being key examples) and that peace is not only possible but beneficial. Unfortunately Daelin's prejudices and trauma prevent him from listening, and he takes over the city to begin a war against Thrall's Horde. Jaina helps the Horde obtain ships and stands aside when the final battle happens. This results in her father's death, and the Kul'Tiran survivors return across the ocean to inform her homeland of what she had done. The Kul'Tirans were furious at her betrayal (they didn't get the full story about Daelin being unreasonable and causing the fight to begin with) and Jaina's name became a curse. They asked the tattered remnants of the other Alliance nations for aid in continuing to war against the Orcs overseas but not only did they not have the resources but were uninterested in rekindling another War after they had been so devastated by constant warfare and plague and scourge. The Kul'Tirans were further enraged by this and afterward largely kept to themselves for a long time. With her father's death, Jaina is in her early-mid 20s. In this time she has: - Had to go through the death of her older brother when she was just a child. - Fallen in love but been unable to maintain the relationship, then seen her lover massacre innocent civilians, then witnessed his transformation into the leader of the Scourge to destroy his own kingdom, the land in which she grew up. - She has seen Orcs imprisoned in brutal conditions by her own people, and even born into that captivity. - Witnessed the death of her adoptive home (Dalaran) and her Mentor, Antonidas. - Made the decision to flee from the war (at the Kiron Tor's insistence) to save as many people as she could, meaning she couldn't use her powers to help defend her City, and feels guilt for leaving. - Been responsible for an entire faction of refugees travelling across the sea to start a new life on an entirely new continent. - Fought against then brokered a peace with other factions. - Fought against and led armies against terrifying Demonic forces. - Had to make the decision to stand aside and watch her father die in order to preserve peace. - Lives with the knowledge that her home country, her family, even her mother view her as a traitor and hold her responsible for the death of their leader, her father. Jaina at this point is still young and has tirelessly worked to protect her people and to foster peace, breaking the cycle of war and hatred that is species wide. She has sacrificed everything for it. Her lifestyle, her reputation, her family, her homelands

The Daughter of the Sea was an old folktale / nursery rhyme sung by Daelin to Jaina (a more cheerful and loving song) but it was transformed into a song of warning about Jaina and her betrayal that became known across all of Kul Tiras. Jaina remained in Theramore and maintains peace with the Orcs. She also meets Medivh's mother, the former Guardian Aegwynn. For the next few years she repeatedly negotiates peace summits between the Orcs and the Kingdom of Stormwind (which is now the seat of The Alliance) though outside influences prevent these summits from being successful. During the war against the Lich King years later Jaina personally prevents a war from breaking out between Alliance and Horde after a misunderstanding. Then later organises yet another peace summit between the leaders of both factions in the now rebuilt and neutral city of Dalaran. This too fails to result in a lasting peace. As the forces of the Alliance, and the Horde, and other neutral factions such as the Argent Crusade are late into warring against the Lich King and are sieging Icecrown itself Jaina personally uncovers a hidden entrance to the Scourge castle, and find Arthas' personal chambers. She talks to the spirits trapped inside his sword, including her old friend Uther, who tells her that there is almost nothing left of Arthas' mind and soul. Arthas shows up and fights against Jaina and two of her archmage companions whilst two of his undead captains fight her allies (the players.) Jaina is unable to fight the Lich King one on one despite her power and escapes, and realises that he cannot be reasoned with as she had desperately hoped. Soon after the Lich King is defeated the Horde violate the peace treaty by attacking Night Elf traders, and Jaina once more steps in to prevent all out war as she has now done repeatedly. Notice how she is *always* the voice of peace, reason and calm, personally responsible for halting conflict due to her position as a respected mage, a friend to Thrall, and frienship with King Varian and the adoration of Varian's son, Anduin, who also desires peace. However.... Thrall makes a blunder. Deathwing arises and causes environmental catastrophes across the planet. Thrall as a shaman steps down from leadership in order to help heal the land. He decides to elect Garrosh Hellscream as the new Warchief of the Horde. Garrosh, like King Varian of Stormwind is aggressive, hot headed, and has repeatedly shown a desire to make war. It is not long until he starts building up the Horde military and attacks the Night Elves in order to take control of Kalimdor. This is such a blatant violation of the peace treaty that the Alliance retaliates, and Jaina allows Theramore to be used as a staging ground due to its position as the only major Alliance oriented port on the continent in order to support their aggressed upon Night Elf allies. This is the first time Jaina has ever condoned any sort of conflict between Alliance and Horde after spending a decade maintaining peace at any cost. However, even now in meetings with faction leaders she calls for restraint and to quickly try to find a peaceful solution rather than outright war. She meets Thrall in secret, asking him to go back to the Horde and temper Garrosh's violent and warlike actions, as all out war is almost by this point starting. Thrall refuses, being too busy, which disappoints her immensely. Garrosh wont listen to anyone else, and he even accidentally kills the Tauren leader in a duel, who was out of all the Horde leaders the most peaceful. The Horde attack the main Alliance fortress near Theramore and destroy it while Jaina is helping the Blue Dragons look for a stolen magical artifact. (She also starts to develop a romance with the leader of the Blue Dragons, Kalecgos.) The new leader of the Tauren, Baine (Cairne's son and a friend to Anduin and Jaina) sends ones of his advisors to inform Jaina that Garrosh was going to attack Theramore next. Jaina requests help, knowing that she cannot abandon her own City and allow Garrosh to continue indiscriminately waging war. The Alliance (Stormwind mostly) sends its armies to defend Theramore. Jaina's own forces also prepare to defend. Even the Kirin Tor of Dalaran (who have been Neutral for a long time) send mages to Theramore to hopefully act as a deterrent (Mages are bloody strong in Warcraft) and to show that they do not support Garrosh's war. Even a demi God of the light who is completely neutral sends some of her soldiers to aid Theramore because Garrosh's actions are so insane. The initial attack against the City is repelled, but then Garrosh reveals his strategy. The missing magical artifact that was stolen from the Blue Dragons - The Focusing Iris - is one of the most powerful items around. Garrosh had had it stolen and converted it into the Warcraft equivalent of an atomic bomb, and drops it on Theramore. The city is ruined, and almost everyone there dies. Men and women and children - civilians of Theramore were extinguished, the Armies of Stormwind, Theramore, Mages of Kirin Tor, Dwarves of Ironforge and Wildhammer clans, Sha'tari guard, Night elf sentinels, gnomes, Draenei. The overall leader of the Alliance Military, General Marcus Jonathan (who had been in game at the Gates of Stormwind through all of WoW, a personal favourite character) was killed. Jaina's closest confidant and bodyguard died. Her Archmage friend and long time supporter Tervosh was killed. The leader of the Kirin Tor, Rhonin, died while creating a portal to shove Jaina and some others out of the worst of the explosion, though the massive magical release still injured them, knocking Jaina out. When Jaina awoke she immediately, shell shocked, went back to Theramore. She saw the destruction, the genocide. She found her young apprentice, whom she dearly loved, body shining purple with magical energy. When she touched the body it crumbled into dust. Jaina had worked for a decade to maintain peace, even at huge personal cost, and this was the result. She snapped. She ran into some Horde looters trying to profit from the dead and just fucked them right up. She found the Focusing Iris at the impact crater and decided she'd retaliate. She teleported to Stormwind and asked the Alliance leaders to all band together and wipe the Horde Capital, Orgrimmar, off the face of the planet. For once Varian was more cautious and advised against it, as their losses at Theramore had been severe. She then went to Dalaran (which is a floating city these days) and asked them to Teleport above Orgrimmar and nuke it with magical fire. The Kirin Tor wanted the Horde to pay for the death of Rhonin but wouldn't destroy an entire City for her. So she went for vengeance herself. Using the Focusing Iris for herself, she directed her and its power into enslaving the water elemental spirits around Orgrimmar to create an immense tidal wave, which would not only wipe out the city but also the entire Horde fleet moored outside and the armies camped around it. Thrall, being a shaman, heard the cries of the elemental spirits and turned up in time to use his own abilities to slow down the tidal wave. Jaina wouldn't listen to his request for mercy for the city, angry and bitter that he had not stepped in to prevent Garrosh's aggression which ultimately allowed the war and atrocities to occur yet was now stepping in to protect his old home. Thrall is something of a Mary Sue, he's ridiculously powerful in Warcraft but even he couldn't wholly prevent this tidal wave. Jaina attacked him with her spells, willing to kill her old friend in her fury, and he couldn't stand against her. It wasn't until Kalecgos arrived begging her to not kill a city that contained so many innocent lives, and pointing out that what she was doing was just as bad as Garrosh did to her and that this is not who she was that she finally relented. She vowed, however, to war against the Horde until Garrosh was dead or removed from power. Good thing she relented too because Varian had sent the Alliance fleet to attack the Horde afterall and Jaina's Tidal wave would have wiped them out too. She returns to the Kirin Tor of Dalaran with Kalecgos and asks to rejoin the neutral order of Mages. They ask her to replace the deceased Rhonin as their leader which she accepts. Kalecgos also joins the council and she commits herself again to maintaining neutrality though she doesn't know if it is possible for there to be peace. She works to present Dalaran as a beacon of peace - owing to the fact that there are Horde aligned Blood Elves (Sunreavers) and Alliance aligned High Elves (Silver Covenant) co-existing within the city. Despite everything she has been through she is *still* making the effort to broker peaceful relations. But then once more the Horde let down that goal. The Sunreavers of Dalaran aid Horde agents in using Dalaran's teleportation network to sneak into the Night Elf City, Darnassus (the tree you see in Sylvanas' cinematic on this video) to steal another Magical Artifact, the Divine Bell, to turn that into a weapon of mass destruction for Garrosh. Again, the Horde / Horde aligned factions that were supposed to be neutral have betrayed Jaina's trust, despite her constantly striving to give them chances and to prolong what peace she could. She decides the Horde as it is now cannot be trusted and drives the Sunreavers out of the city - some imprisoned, some exiled, and some killed as they fought to remain, and then dedicates the Kirin Tor and Dalaran to the Alliance. Soon after Anduin and an Alliance Hero track down Garrosh and the Divine Bell, and Garrosh tries to kill Anduin, who takes a beating and is at death's door. He is like a son to Jaina and when she sees him in this state once again vows to see Garrosh dead.

While fighting a different threat in Pandaria alongside a neutral force, Jaina comes head to head with the Horde Leader of the Blood Elves, Lor'themar Theron. She demands he turn over the Mage that is with him - Aethas Sunreaver - the one responsible for letting the Horde use Dalaran to break into Darnassus, and states that there cannot be peace while Garrosh is alive. To her surprise, Lor'themar agrees with this, hinting that he and perhaps other members of the Horde are against Garrosh also. The Horde is then split into a civil war. Garrosh and his militant Orcs, some Trolls and Goblins, versus the more traditional members of Horde like Baine and Lor'themar who realise he is mad and will never stop warring. (Garrosh had also been taking actions against his own faction, denoting Orcs as superior and trying to create second class citizens out of races like the Tauren.) The Horde under Baine and Lor'themar team up with the Alliance and some neutral factions to defeat Garrosh, and elect a new leader. Though the war is over Jaina's mistrust of the Horde persists and she is no longer the peacekeeper she once was, even urging Varian to dismantle the Horde as they were discussing who would lead them now. Garrosh is put on trial but escapes into an alternate timeline where he is eventually killed. An event happens where Jaina is also almost killed but is healed by a demi god and forgives Thrall. Later the Burning Legion once again invade Azeroth. The Alliance, Horde, Kirin Tor, Paladins and Shamans and all factions join together to fight against them. (You have seen this in the Legion Cinematic, which starts with Varian and Sylvanas on their respective airships. However during the largest battle the Horde retreat suddenly, leaving Alliance forces to get surrounded and overwhelmed. Though they make it to the Gunship Varian is forced to sacrifice himself to allow them to take off, and this just further's Jaina's newer belief that the Horde are never to be trusted. She reiterates that the Kirin Tor of Dalaran are Alliance only but another prominent mage, Khadgar, (Who in his Youth was Alliance oriented but is now neutral) argues that it should regain neutrality. He puts it to a vote and the Council vote to allow the Horde back in. Jaina is furious and leaves, telling them the Horde cannot be trusted while also breaking up with Kalecgos so that she can disappear. No one sees her for a long time, during which she keeps to herself, becoming more powerful and fighting her own war against the Burning Legion. During this time she understands that she doesn't *want* constant war between the factions. But she also has become so jaded, hurt, angry and bitter after working so hard for a peace that was inevitably betrayed over and over by the Horde, by her trauma of losses of family and homes and cities and mentors and friends and proteges, that she no longer knows how to trust or let go of the anger. It's safe to say that out of all the awful events that have happened to all the characters in this universe Jaina has probably been through the most personal trauma and pain. This is the complete history of Jaina leading to the Warbringers Cinematic, where she has returned to Theramore to take a Kul Tiran pendant in order to be guided to the wreck of her father's flagship. She raises it from the depths to use it for herself, intending to return to her homeland and reunite with her people, her family. When she says that "I'm listening now, father" she is admitting to herself that she should never have trusted the Horde as he didn't, and regrets siding with them against him. And surprise surprise, when she returns to civilisation once the combined forces of Azeroth have defeated the demonic forces (having fought The Burning Legion on her own and now raised this ship) - the Horde have *once again* gone on the offensive against the Alliance. Sylvanas burns down Darnassus as you have seen in this reaction and slaughters even the innocents inside. She aids Anduin, now King of Stormwind after Varian's death, in attacking Undercity (Sylvanas' home city which exists under the ruins of the Old Lordaeron capital) in retaliation for Darnassus and works to bring Kul'Tiras back into the Alliance.

Well about Jaina and the song. The story is significantly more complex than daddy did bad and the daughter abandoned him that I have seen other say to reactors that don't have all the facts. First of all, the humans, dwarves and elves of the alliance have fought two major wars against the Orcs when they where under the influence of the demons. During those wars, the Orcs committed major war crimes against the humans, elves and dwarves, and none of those aforementioned people trusted that the Orcs would change their ways anytime soon. At the end of the second war, there where many voices that called for the systematic eradication of the Orc population, meaning genocide, and it was almost passed, that was how much the people of all races hated the Orcs. The one that stopped this and offered the alternative of the concentration camps was one Admiral Daelin Proudmoore, Jaina's father and Admiral of the Kul Tiran fleet and a hero of the Second War. Now, Admiral Proudmoore had plenty of reason to hate the Orcs. Not only they were responsible for many casualties to his fleet and people, they had also killed both his sons during the War. So, from this you can infer that he wasn't an unreasonable man. Though he hated them with a passion, he was the one that saved the Orcs from extinction. Fast forward to the end of Warcraft 3. The Orcs, free at last from the demonic influence have allied with the Night Elves and Jaina's faction in Calimdor to fight the Demonic invasion. They honor that alliance and after defeating Archimonde the start building their capital of Orgrimmar, while maintaining friendly relations with Jaina that had built the city state of Theramore. Admiral Proudmoore was still in Kul Tiras defending it from the undead of Arthas, but was searching also for his daughter. He heard about Theramore and that his daughter was in Kalimdor, so he decided to prepare an expedition force to go to her and learn what she has being doing all this time. When he arrived at Kalimdor, he found Orcs building a forward base near Theramore. You must understand that when the Orcs left Lordaeron they didn't leave in peace. They broke out of their concentration camps, killed the guards and nearby garrison force, looted the countryside for supplies and hit a naval base in order to gain the ships they needed to travel to Kalimdor. Knowing this, and remembering the destruction these invaders had wrought during the previous two wars, and not knowing that these Orcs had an alliance with the people of Theramore, he ordered a preemptive attack on the Orcs fearing they would attack his countrymen in Theramore. That led to an escalation of hostilities. The Orcs didn't want to start a war against the Humans, but they needed to defend themselves, but Admiral Proudmoore entered Theramore and assumed control of the city with his forces, ready to hunt down the Orcs. Jaina tried to stop her father telling him that she had an alliance with Thrall and that there was no need for war, but Daelin didn't believe for a second that the Orcs could be trusted. The had, after all, betrayed them before, during the previous two wars and also when they escaped and looted the countryside and the naval base at Lordaeron. And so, ignoring his daughter's warning, he continued the war. He lost, when Jaina, fearing that the war would destroy her city and harm her people, decided to withdraw all her forces secretly and leave her father with only his own forces to face the Orcs. Thrall did try to spare the Admiral, but he, blinded by his hatred fought to the end and he was killed. So you see, he wasn't a warmongering asshole as some might present him. He simply had no trust to these people that had betrayed and harmed his people and family again and again. Hell, his stance was justified if you take into consideration that these Orcs did attack and killed the people of Lordaeron when leaving. By his account and knowledge of these people couldn't be trusted to keep their word. He even warns Jaina that they would betray her. And guess what, the events leading to this scene, are a series of betrayals of her endless efforts to bring peace to the Alliance and Horde. Here we see that she had enough and accepting that what her father said back then was right. She has lost almost everything to the Horde and she is on the warpath. There is, of course, far more to the story, but I don't have the time to write all of it down.

Long story short>>Jainas father Daelin Proudmoore was the Admiral of the Kul Tiras Fleet so his flagship was the biggest and most powerful that s why Jaina lifts it back. At the End of Warcraft 3 the orcs that sailed to Kalimdoor started constructing their Capital city of Orgrimmar with the Kul Tirans noticing it and thinking of them as enemies. Before this the Orcs Humans and Night Elves formed a alliance to fight off the Legion and the demon Archimonde. Daddy Proudmoore ordered to attack the Orcs while Jaina was leading the human survivors that escaped Lordaeron meaning she was still allied with the other races and that s why she didnt interfere. She tried to reason with him but he never listened .Even when she went back to Kul Tiras she was considered a traitor by her mother kzbin.info/www/bejne/hHXNY5SXrc6rrtE

This is my favorite Warcraft video short. It strikes so true after having played the Admiral Proudmoore campaign in Warcraft 3, doing the Theramore scenario in MoP along with the purge of Dalaran and Garrosh's attack on Anduin. Sylvanas' burning of Teldrassil didn't help.

When Garrosh blew up Theramore with the Mana Bomb, causing Rhonin to sacrifice himself to allow her to escape, and finding her apprentice Kinndy Sparkshine turned to violet sand by the explosion, she snapped. She used the Focusing Iris from the Nexus to summon hundreds of water elementals into a tremendous tidal wave that she sent towards Orgrimmar, but was stopped by Thrall and Kalecgos, who showed her that by doing this, she was no better than Garrosh. This is detailed in the Jaina: Tides of War novel by Christie Golden, who I got to meet at Denver Comic-con a few years back. She's awesome :D

Feel like this song must lose a whole lot without already knowing the backstory. As a lore nerd and Horde player I have some... mixed feelings about Jaina. But this video makes me feel badly that she was doing that to herself. I get the Kul Tirans having come up with this BS version of events to make a song out of, though. Laura Bailey is such an unstoppable force in this role, it's hard not to come with her wherever she's taking you even if you aren't on her character's side.

Hello, I'm not writing this to be offensive or insensitive, but you might get a little bit more out of this song if you can listen to it in your first language. Even for a Native English speaker like me, I missed a few words here or there that were important, and I even know the lore. So, I would highly recommend that you listen to this again in your native language as well so you can enjoy it more. Blizzard localized this song into many regions. Is your first language Russian? If so, here's the link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/a5uQhGdqbb12bs0

I don't want to be rude, but as much as I enjoy these reactions, it's *VERY* one sided. Someone is clearly an Alliance fanboy and forgets that there are always two sides of any story. There are no "good guys" in WoW, some are just worse than the other at a given time. Even Jaina isn't "good" and she is overall more consistent reasonable. Wouldn't it have been for Thrall (and I believe Kalecgos - I always mix up the dragons) she had killed who knows how many innocent in Orgrimmar and she did murder the Sunreavers, it's not called a purge for no reason what happend in Dalaran.

Except Blizzard confirmed Jaina attacking and killing NPCs during that event was a bug and not canon. Vereesa and the Silver Covenant DID kill people, but not Jaina. And given the fact that the Horde (under Garrosh) nuked her city and it was only possible because of traitors within the Sunreavers her anger was justified.

Well u are always Alliance oriented judging from reaction so far 😏😏😏😏😏😏 Personally I hate Kultirans, they are 2nd worst fraction in game. First is Gilneas. They both are selfish kingdoms, who left Alliance to die, they are not there when Arthas destroy entire upper eastern kingdoms. Kultiran now is okey cause of Jaina. But cannot thrust Greymane. Without Sylvannas I don't thrust him.
