Warcraft 1: Part 7 - Warcraft Chronicles and the Early Universe

In which I ramble about the Warcraft Chronicles and the lore it added to the early mythos of the universe!
Finally bought a suspension arm for the mic that should arrive early June, so hopefully I can get the audio quality up to where I'll be more happy with it. No more heavy vibrations from the keyboard.

+Matthew Carson Thanks! Honestly, I can understand where both sides are coming from. I highly doubt anyone in Blizzard wanted to shut Nostalrius down the way they did, but unfortunately if you don't protect your copyright, it can cause major legal issues later on when something more serious comes along. Likely their lawyers were ragging on them to do something. That said, I rhink this really does show that there's a want for legacy servers, and both Nostarlius' staff and Blizzard have said that they're deep in talks trying to come to a solution. Hopefully we see some cool stuff come up soon. Blizzard has already mentioned the idea of a "pristine" server. The thing I've seen come up time and again in this debate that throws negative light on Blizzard in the whole situation is that one dev (I don't remember his name) a few years ago at Blizzcon. Someone asked his opinion on legacy servers, and his response was "*laugh* You don't want that. You think you do but you don't." People are now waving that as a banner, showing that Blizzard "doesn't listen to their players, and that's why WoW is failing". I'm just hoping Blizzard learns from that bit of PR disaster. And hopefully we see some legacy servers come up. I'd rather everyone enjoying WoW in any form, rather than raging at Blizzard that they destroyed the game. Tl;dr - I'm fencesitting and don't think it's a battle between two sides so much as an opportunity to find a solution to a long-existing problem.
