The way it works is that theres a tome like item in the dwarven rebel camp and it gives you access to the cannons sadly i did not find it until I was scouring the map for my missing statue piece

This mission was a good introduction to both Maim and Zuluhed, I wish Maim's passive trigged also from enemies dying nearby him at half effect rather than just making it so only his killing blows would heal him. Aside from that, the focus of getting the dragon pieces to make a figure to unlock something is neat and getting rewarded handsomely for that makes all your troubles worth it.

Yeah like that Najentus’ passive ability in Sevenblood’s Revamped Blood Elven Campaign. I remember he was basically invincible when facing a swarm of lesser enemies

It's amazing how well made the models are. I am overly impressed by the work they put in. Also, the environments, the maps and the custom walls etc of Dun Modr and Blackrock Spire are amazing. Well done, well fking done. And Blizzard should be ashamed.

Dwarves coming from the ground ? I never would have thought they inspired the crypt fiends (or the zergs). It reminds me of being chilling in your nice dungeon in Dungeon Keeper and suddenly they have tunneled your walls and they're everywhere

Hehey, there's utok's rival (the spear-wielding captain tharbek). And old Z-uluhed, he's awesome, his ult too. There'll be more boss fights later(there's one extra special....scratch, make that 3 boss fights that z, utok/both will be participating, with and without blackhand brothers). The dragon artifact is tied to dragonmaw clan and the flying scaly beasts we only got to use in the very last 2 missions of original tides of darkness(we already fought them this map so it's not a big spoiler anyway). Iirc, outsider xe found a way to commandeer the cannons at tol barad for use. Jayman didn't even need them to take the island :P Edit to add: if cutscenes look rather familiar in style, yes, it's work of insanemonster(of re-reforged fame).

You know, when I started playing through this bit I couldn't help but feel like it's "Zuluhed carries the Horde by being able to heal" but I guess it's slightly less impactful on this difficulty where they kill you faster. I'm glad I'm not the only person who found his title to be funny though. I remember first reading about him in the lore on one of the wikis, and then when they showed the teaser art of him I joked to my friend "Wow, the CSW team are really diligent if they've even got Zuluhead the Whacked" and then he turned out to be a hero...

Well, Zuluhed the Whacked was named as the Dragonmaw chieftain in the WC2 manual, stands for reason he'd be a hero.

1:05:30 both actually, but on patch you play on not worth it. On first version zeppelins were 1 supply. Well mass zeppelin was completely broken (can see how much so on Wtii Warcraft playthrough cos he played on that one). So the creators nerfed it to 4 supply so now they only really are good as scouts.

Their proper job, as was in original. To be fair, flyers being able to drop depth charges would be fitting. I also see they were able to fix zep pilot not moving his mouth to speak.
