Warcraft 3 Reforged supposedly will alter the original Warcraft 3 campaigns, so let's blast through Reign of Chaos and The Frozen Throne on Hard difficulty before Reforged is released! These videos will contain all cinematics and dialogue along with explanations of the strategies I'm using as a semi-walkthrough.
I am nowhere near as experienced with these maps as the StarCraft 2 campaigns, so it won't be quite as polished of a playthrough, but we will succeed through Hard difficulty nonetheless!

Ah Kael'thas, probably my favorite character to come out of TFT, both in terms of gameplay and story. Pity he got turned into a cackling super-villain in WoW, but then that is supposedly a canon side effect of Fel-magic usage!

Blizzard turned lots of historical characters of Warcraft into loot pinatas to fill dungeons and raids, a move they later regretted when expansions went on and reached the peak of popularity. I think the best explanation for Kael is that Illidan didn't deliver on his promises, he failed to give a permanent source of magic (he created a special well, but only to coerce demons of Burning Legion to join him, not to share it with Blood Elves), he failed to destroy Lich King and now has to hide from Legion in Outland. Just like before, Kael takes the path of least resistance, from accepting Naga's help in Frozen Throne, to joining Illidan, to joining Kiljaeden, who is the top dog around here and has biggest chances of victory.

Damn you had the option of combining inner fire and roar with command aura and tyrande's ranged aura. The damage output would have been extreme.

I wasted hours doing dumb stuff like that in this game. Along with collecting all of the orbs, ALL OF THEM! To the point where Illiadain in the Outland missions would have like 5 or 6 little orbs circling his weapon in the cinematics.

I did the same thing on Chen in Rexxar's campaign.i made him as my debuff hero while fighting Admiral elites footman Few years later I started wonder if only one of the orbs work on one hero

And also in the Rexxar campaign you find out Chen is an absolute beast of a tank in the final mission. He can never die man

All the heroes you control will drop all their items on the next mission, on some specific location, wherein you don't get to permanently control them anymore throughout the campaign. Such as: Jaina (at Human05 and the first Theramore Island mission on the Founding of Durotar), Muradin (at Human09), Kel'Thuzad (Undead08 and UndeadX02), Tyrande (at NightElfX07), Maiev (at NightElfX08). Samuro (as the 2nd phase of the Coastal Base starts).

The reforged version of 29:42 bridge cutscene is just awful. Skips the crumbling bridge, places Tyrande at the bottom of the water and -kills her as you can see her death animation and death sounds in the water.

I wonder why night elves choose to join the Human alliance later on WoW...I feel like Night elves are highly ancient and secretive and isolative race who would place non intervention policy on foreign affairs and conflicts... Night elves joining alliance is like Aiur Protoss siding with confederacy on Terran guild war.

If you have read the novels, the Horde broke the peace treaty and continued their advance through Ashenvale thats why they asked the Alliance for help and protection. Its really dumb since their power was nerfed for the sake of that.

@@CIAinTaiwanAndUkraine i believe that it would have been better if the night elves had never lost their immortality. imean yes the world tree was destroyed in w3 along with archimonde but it grew back up again . its as if this time it didnt absorb the well's waters.

Grom Hellscream and his clan killed Cenarius and chopped Ashenvale without restraint. Later after some peace and trade treaties, Horde starts to chop trees without restraint anyway, because they really really want these resources without paying for them. Alliance on the other hand only joined Horde to check for signs of any demon influence in the forests. It was Tyrande who attacked first! Malfurion also makes remarks that they would be cool allies against Legion, but at that point Tyrande as hardliner scoffs at the idea. The idea takes it root though (pun) and between Frozen Throne and WoW (4-5 year break) they join the Alliance. Grom was never a good guy to begin with, so I find it weird that everybody expected Garrosh would be better. Both had one hell of a temper and really liked to fight.

Taunt just makes about 10 nearby enemies to attack the taunter (like Mountain Giants).

malfurion : i expect you both to stay focused on your task maiev and tyrande : yes father Net mission make sure to give all good items to furion since maiev goes out of the picture in last mission. Also you missed an orb of fire that was hidden in a crate at the hills to your left after the second mercenary camp .

End of the story for him and his forces for sure. Look at what they had to face they barely survived even with the night elves joining them. Garithos kept sending Keal to suicide missions he wanted him dead.

In this mission usually i alway keep a Mountain Giant in rearguard of the caravan, using taunt on every undead attack allow you to keep the Blood Elf units pretty much alive for all the voyage.

i usually put mercenaries in the back and have my night elf forces in the front . ogre maulers can tank well enough since the attcks that come from behind always are small in size

Jayborino can you try in the last mission of the night elf campaign to give illidan the shadow orb, apparently this can be accomplished there is a game facts thread about it just google shadow orb transfer, I want to see if he will have it in the next campaign.

You can divide ur forces and leave some following the last magical charriot from the caravan... 1 Stone Giant for taunting, 1 Druid of the Claw for rejuvenaution, 1 Forest Troll Priest for healing and 2 geomancers... You can have ur both heroes on front, of course if needed you can always blink Maiev in the back to use fan of knoves and steal those banshees mana. It seems that Kael is Fmale Striking his own units too often...
