@@bookofflames9016 i know. the classic team devs are the ones i can trust in Blizzard. is so funny you know...i still remember bright as day, when w3 was announced as fp wow game, everybody riot, them became more rts again with 6 Races then down to 4, and again when was released so many didn't like the RPG hero elements in it...then became a classic and all loved it after 10years... just like Diablo 2, so many complaining about ruins and whatever they didn't like not having an End Game... then when diablo 3 was released everybody praised Diablo 2 and LOD... nostalgia just make us crappy things look so cool a decade later.. so i wonder how fans will react today if next weekend Blizzard announces also Diablo 2 LOD "recursed" edition 🙄😁

@@johnnyxp64 The SC2 engine was in development for about 12 years total ('03 to '15), if memory serves and was continuously improved up to LotV. Sadly the WC3 engine didn't get this much love haha! I was wondering what they were planning on doing with the WC3 engine, replace it with the SC2 engine and just change the models or patch the current one. Apparently, they patched the current one (increased buffers, 64-bit, new modeling/lighting engine etc.). I hope that it can handle the custom maps properly, those LTW games could wreck the game at certain points haha

This is way better! I absolutly love the dragonhawk moving portrait and I think that should be the standard for all the units. Also the animations are starting to look more natural and to be fair, many of them look like proper final versions. On the other hand, their biggest problem seems to be the fact that the terrain is too bright in comparation to the units and it has very powerfull color contrasts. If they can make the ground look somehow darker and less contrastant and the units a little bit brighter, with more vibrant team colors, I can asume that would solve this. Anyway, I can't wait to play this game again!

It appears to me that they got rid of blood elves in the Alliace and replaced all of the elves (priest, sorceress, Dragonhawk and spellbreaker) with High elves. Spellbreaker now has blue runes on his shield, not fell once. Priest, sorceress and Dragonhawk are clearly high elves eventhough we can hear Dragonhawk rider say: "for the blood elves". The odd one out is the Blood Mage, who still retains all of his blood elveness. Strange... yet I think that they are going for High Elves in W3 for lore reasons. I do wonder if we are going to see the blood mage with blue eyes.

It is optimized for the multithreaded performance, it uses around half of my cores, old engine only uses 1 core.

what are your system specs? I played beta yesterday and it looked very laggy to me. The game would lag everytime I changed the camera pitch by scrolling up or down.

I think colours are too faded, it's impossible to identify things on your screen when you have a lot going on, but that might be just conversion on KZbin.
