This was a nice display of my "re-directing" skills in order to even survive those giant waves at the start, but I only got into that mess because of my misplay of going tier 3 middle before I get the Tier 2 base. Also I was lucky Naga sent Illidan, otherwise I think I was just dead since the only way I was able to re-direct is because of a hero being present. Regardless I was excited to survive and get to play a race I never get to see!

Good one over here, such a butt-clenching moment pulling off that massive push on all three sides, I would have given up for sure. The triple income upgrades was also extremely greedy - having Blood Elf top made it look like going for three is a play, but there was a mine down there that is almost as much gold as an income upgrade (since you the mine at some points in the game, it is not as good, but it is free), plus you would have an upside of having a T2 lane early in the game to make you a bit safer. But yeah, as you said in the end, T2 base and hero middle when Naga was pushing could have been the play, although Naga did have a massive wave there, who knows if a hero could have helped because both of Silithid heroes are melee - not sure how well they deal with such massive waves. All in all, redirection saved the game here for sure.

Regardless of how much of it was luck and how much of it was skill, that early game was insane

btw you didn't need sobi mask, you should have sold the gloves of haste. When you actually got the sobi mask it turned into warlock, which you already had and it was sold as a duplicate. with the claws of attack you could've tried to get the assassin item

Yea I wasn't paying attention to that at the time. I noticed when re-watching that I got a 2nd warlock set

How was this race designed? The 8 building armor income is so you can afford those 2 SUs late game?
