It's nice to see people still having fun with this map, so long after I made it! By the way, there's a REALLY obtuse secret area in Thirlmir, just above the barman. If you walk _right up_ to a pile of rocks there it will spontaneously disintegrate, revealling a new beach area. I don't know why I made it so secret, it's full of side quests. (I'm kinda glad you didn't choose to buy the backpack from the Barracks, because I used the same model in This Wreckage and if it's guffed there it's likely to be guffed here too.) Re: the tone... yeah, I was a teenager. This Wreckage is a lot more consistent. xD

I noticed when the captain was about to swing. You have a trigger that uses when the unit is being attacked. I bet its a small chance to execute the targets. You should get a dmg trigger for that. otherwise, people can spam the stop hotkey on him and execute everything. Just as a map maker to another map maker. lol

and not to throw shades or anything but with extensive macro maps like in the Books of Arkain, I just fall asleep midway through despite the footage being roughly the same length as this video. Maybe these sorta RPG micro campaigns suits me better.

Yah ryuu books of arkain was one of the most boring campaigns I've ever seen on this channel. Not even the story is good

@@hazzmati Well, I really like the story of the second human book and a bit less story of the orc books. Yes, I am a big bun of orcs and still, I feel like more efforts put in human books. What I don't like about the story part, is undead. Really - heroes (characters) working hard to achieve things, and then BOOM BOOM undead come from nowhere and just destroys everything because "he he balance" and nothing can be done to stop it. But gameplaywise well, yeah, it is pretty much - build a base, train a huge army of some units, charge on the enemy base, get every single one of them killed - repeat.

@@EfraimTzimisce I mean that is fair, I am still fairly intrigued in the story of that campaign - and frankly, it's mostly the story that brought me to watch quite a few of the videos on that. But I guess the gameplay is really the dreadful part for me. It gets kinda boring midway through and I legit just fall asleep to Jay's voice on more than one occasions

I was just last week frantically searching after this map both on the interwebs and on youtube, since i remember playing tons of custom maps/campaigns when i was younger, and finally gave up since i didn't find it. Then all of a sudden today i get blessed by youtubes algorithm and this video appears in the recommended, the nostalgia i'm feeling is unreal i will definitely play this again!
