One of my favorite kind of review / retrospectives, a lot of pep and the person is clearly having a lot of fun with the video and talking about the game (also loved the intro so much for the game i remade it , and im more of a C&C guy ontop of it ) Excellent thumbnail as well, clever use of the sprites Also you might be interested in Warcraft 2000 essentially a Russian Freeboot expansion , something to maybe look up if your interested :)

Expected this to have thousands of views. Great vid, great editing. Really struck my fascination with games a decade older than me that i developed by growing up on them.

Great video! I got this as a kid back in the days, and I still replay the campaigns every now and then. Never really got into the multiplayer or even the DLC, but the main game is lots of fun!

Ahh nice… :) so nostalgic, isn’t it? And the music! Glenn Stafford kicks serious bum.

Lovely video! I replayed all the Beyond the dark portal campaings for the re release. On a constructive critic, you might have spent too much time explaining what the buildings do, which most of us just know what they do already. The rest of video was flawless.

Some other differences between dos and win versions. The DOS version allowed you to specify the IPX packet size war2.exe pkt:4 or 7 were the main ones. Another one big one is they allowed shared vision in the online war2.bnet. I will always miss putting in special characters in my war2 ini - and making my name black and red. Old clan the Rough Necks! Shockwave, Zeffer, INMojo, Dank, Wardrive, Nephon - If yall are still around I'd love to reconnect LOL. Back in the IPX days ogres were just too strong. Bloodlust was 3x damage, you could easily lust then run in. You could not heal on the fly - way too delayed. Now that latency is way down, the players still going Humans are the strong ones with minor differences like weapon upgrade price differences.

Cool! Thanks for the extra info man! Hope you can connect with those cool dudes. :)

There's still a small group of people that play War2 regularly. Humans are still trash though. Even with remastered coming out and being patched, Lust is still just too good. Hopefully it will be more balanced after some updates though.

Still have the original CDs, Manuals and even the Official Strategy Guides for both WC2 and the Expansion, Tides of Darkness. Warcraft 2 will never get old, especially with the Map Editor.

Nice! Yeah it’s aged really, really well. Still looks and sounds beautiful:)

Alright coming back for a serious comment. I never played WC2, but Starcraft's map editor was a similar gateway into game design for me as a kid. Also, just about this content in general, this is a legit video man, your channel has a ton of potential if you keep making stuff like this.

I always wanted to get more into StarCraft… now is the time, I reckon! And thanks man, I plan to do more vids of this sort especially with more forgotten 90s games. :)

Medieval Man IS available in-game, you just need to type 'Disco' into the game chat. Keep in mind, this technically counts as a cheat, so the game will punish you at the end of the mission by calling you a cheater.
