Just noticed that both Arthas and Durotan had their major character progression through killing their closest companion, their animal. For Durotan it is his wolf, and for Arthas it was his horse, Invicible. Also, each learned completely different lessons from doing so. Durotan learned the power and need for restraint, while Arthas was taught the importance of mercy and making difficult decisions to avoid suffering

Wow... This story is my favorite of the three so far. The entire Frostwolf Clan seems soo much more humane, and that is makes this short story so emotional. I love Durotan's story :) Can't wait to fight alongside the Frostwolves!

Durotan has become one of my favorite characters in WoD. He's (imo) what all orcs should strive to be. Same reason I always admired Thrall, they at least STOOD for something more than just pure conquest and bloodshed. Durotan is strong, courageous and noble. His son Thrall, shows the exact same qualities. Guess I'm not a huge fan of the blood thirsty orcs that so many WoW fans really seem to like but Durotan and Thrall, they are something else completely.

Gul'Dan was the apprentice of the 1st Master Orc warlock. He pretty much sold his soul to the demons for greater power. His master used to care for the Orcs but driven by madness and power killed many of his followers and betrayed his own kind becoming a Demon emissary. Gul'Dan. much like his master sought more power after feeling unfulfilled. He sought out for a weapon, a Staff, which was guarded by demons and a Demon lord. Still he pursued it, and lost his life to those Demons. His own apprentice, Keli'dan, eventually finds this weapons, then rebels and makes his own clan. They in term defend Hellfire citadel's Blood furnace. (If my memory serves me right, this is the jist of it)

There is one thing that I do not understand. The wolves that the clan tame aren't.. SMALL. With that said, why couldn't Stormfang carry her? Or even just... pull her on a sled? Don't they have larger wolves for mounts? I am also sure that there are some orcs there who are big enough to carry her. I mean, that's his mother. The wife of the clan chief. Respect maybe?

No the frostwolves are the only Warlord faction that arnt with the Ironhorde, They refused to become a apart of it, and serve as the faction the Present Horde joins on Draenor so Durotan will be the only warlord we wont fight

So basically Durotan is a hunter at first but refuse to use ranged weapon because swag, but then reroll shaman half way because bloodlust op, which makes him no longer get a pet, essentially, making Stormfang died...Then he proceeded to loot his old pet for a swaggy swag hat transmog...Durotan, fotm player since day one...
