I said a lot that pala and Bloodmage was broken against UD... Finally someone did It. Happy had a really bad time and he's getting some nightmares

It's strong but I wouldn't say it's broken. Still very weak to aoe dmg and can't maneuver very well so better chance to be out-macro'd Und just needs to come up with better strategies to stop the drain & limit the paladin healing. Dark ranger could be a good choice, or even firelord soul burn That and Starbuck is just really good at pally rifle. Seems to be the only one who plays it

@@alphafan11 imo, SB is also "practicing" not using the staffs, b/c we all know they gonna get nerfed soon. imagine this same game if SB used 2 staffs for the insta deny, and auto heal back home?

@Gizziiusa Yeah cuz he'd he an idiot. Why would you invest in tier 3, buy a 200g staff only to save a 205g rifle that can just be healed/banished? If he had 3 heroes maybe, but then his early game would be much weaker & he'd probably need an early expansion to afford it. Staff is meant for Knights, gryphs, heroes, and so on. It also can't be used on webbed/ensnared targets. Lastly since it stuns to heal once staffed those units are out of the fight completely. It's basically like training a new unit as far as production time, minus the gold cost. The xp denial is cool, but if the human has 3 staffs it's probably because he sacrificed his early game/map control to expand & get an economic advantage.

Why not get a few priests to nullify drow skeles early? Felt like he could have broken through easier. But for sure the mortar won the game after destroying the crypt really nice game from hu

Blood Mage always uses suck/barf mana spell, but Draw Ranger never uses suck/barf life energy spell 🤔
