A totally lost tune from 1986. I love this song so much. One of the best tunes from my teenage years. I first this song when I was only 17. Perfect days to have lived in.

I was already 22 by then,but good times full of hope for the future! I seem to remember the guitar figure at 1:40 and the end being also prominent at the very beginning on the radio edit,in conjunction with the drums.

La música anglosajona llegaba a Canarias un año más tarde. Por esa época tenía un radio-casette que utilizaba para grabar lo que me sonaba bien. Solo los oí una vez y la música incluso ya rodaba cuando empecé a grabar. Con el tiempo olvidé las cintas. Hace 3 años en mi trabajo iban a tirar un radio-casette al reciclado, me lo llevé a casa y en cuanto pude puse las cintas y reapareció el fragmento, no sabía quiénes eran ¡Pero yo tenía el Shazam! Ahora, cuando voy a correr y me suena en el mp3 me salen alas en los pies. ¡¡Gracias Aussie, gracias Ward Bros!!

I drug out a box full of mixes I made in the '80s on cassettes (!) and heard this very appealing song on one of them but couldn't remember who the artist was. I could tell it was probably called Cross That Bridge so ran a search of that title on YT and here it is! That lead singer's hair! It is indeed like Limahl or a less bizarre version of the Flock of Seagulls lead singer's style, which I tried but failed to pull off one night before going out dancing.
