Wardens - Season 3, Episode 2: Operation Water Rescue | Outdoor Documentary
Watch 'Wardens - Season 3, Episode 3' here: • Wardens: Operation Pad...
In this episode:
This time, a couple of wardens face off with early season anglers over gaming laws while other wardens get trained in open water rescue techniques.
When your job is protecting our most precious natural resources in some of the nation’s most remote areas, there is rarely a dull moment. Wardens chronicles the lives of Conservation Officers in America. The show features the men and women who protect public lands, from ride-alongs on interstate game checks, to anti-poaching sting operations; from remote snowmobile trails in grizzly bear country, to unforgiving white-water rapids. While the focus of Wardens is enforcement of regulations, the show takes special precautions to ensure the general public understand those who would violate the rules are the minority and the vast majority of encounters with our Wardens are law-abiding citizens.

Thats the biggest lie…they use threats to coerce people into admitting guilt…i hate poachers…i hate people who tresspass…but i disagree with ticketing people for minor violations…like forgetting blaze orange…or other small procedural infractions…

My problem with a lie is u have to remember it the rest of ur life and I am just too lazy to remember it that's something I try to teach my kids is the lies are too much to remember the truth can be backed and it's easier to remember and the truth will set u free

Warden Golie seems to "attract" the habitual liers. I like his demeanor and his interrogation skills. Great job.

I still stand by the fact that they should have and sell life vests to help people who forget or maybe don't know that they need one for kids or find people to donate money just to do a life vest exchange if something working with them were they can swap out ones that are expired stuff like that they could sell or do a swap thing but my wife and 2 of my kids binged watched a bunch of theses so my girls would see that game warden are our friends and a amazing source of help if u don't know the answer to a important question instead of maybe breaking a law when they are in a area were they might not always be

For sure, I especially like how this prick of a warden acts like he’s doing them a favor and at the same time, gives the most expensive ticket possible. Money hungry government. Too many rules to accurately follow every single one, way better off not fishing at all.

Hatcheries are actually detrimental In the long run. However I do realize it's kind of a catch 22 in these modern times.

Kind of arbitrary who does and doesn't get a ticket. A young couple get a $135 ticket for fishing out of season, though they caught no fish. An older guy in camo has 3 poles and hides his fish, lies about fishing, and gets off with a warning.

31:38 i always love this, "i asked you if you had any fish and you said no, what's the deal?" ummm, i think the deal is something like your right not to incriminate yourself, your right not answer questions etc. I'm not knocking anyone really but i can say from first hand experience that LEO's are not taught that a persons rights are not a challenge to their authority
@kevinhicks1108

You have the right to not answer questions, and to not incriminate yourself. You do NOT have the right to lie to or mislead the warden or other law enforcement officer. If you do, you face the consequences of your decision.

@@kevinhicks1108 i get what you're saying & saying nothing would most likely be your best course of action but (at least here) i can't think of any law that that you can be charged with breaking. Now, i could imagine that lying could & would actually be used against you to try & prove guilt in court, but that's also been done with remaining silent. I would argue that you're under no obligation to assist in his investigation verbally denying any involvement or wrong doing is in fact your right

@@WolfPointOutfitters I get what you're saying too. For the most part, at least up there, I don't think you can go wrong with honestly answering their questions. I know when I was still living in the Ft. Benton area, the last thing you wanted to do was lie to Wendy. You could lie to a sheriff deputy, lie to the sheriff himself and they'd just shrug it off. Lie to Wendy and she WOULD find out lol, and seemed to take it personal. She's a great warden, don't get me wrong, butt you did not want to get on her bad side
