Warding Off Evil Eye or Buri Nazar | God's Grace is Most Powerful | Sri Sathya Sai Experience

When I broke my leg, I was told that I had been a victim of the 'evil eye'. 'Warding off the evil eye' is a common belief and practice in many cultures and traditions. The 'evil eye' is also known in Arabic as ʿayn al-ḥasūd (عين الحسود‎), in Hebrew as ʿayn ha-rʿa (עין הרע‎), in Turkish and Hindi as Nazar, in Greek as "το μάτι," in Spanish as mal de ojo and in Italian as malocchio.

God Bless you Aravind! This reminds me of my final year sports meet practice and participation moments with a sprained ankle. I was in Shaolin item and by His Grace managed the D day with no pain as if nothing had happened to me. Post Sports meet I limped for about 4 months... Whatever He gives, He gives in abundance.The vigorous practice of Shaolin kicks, march past practice, bike escort practice, all the way walking from the dormitory to Mandir, stadium.....to and fro.... simply wonderful how Swami doesn't even make us feel it's difficult. By the way, pushing the car with my head on sports meet day 2003...! How magical. Anything is possible when one feels Swami's Presence always.

Dear Arvind Ji Sairam. I am experiencing same situation as you explained with" A cast over my Ancle" due to a freak accident that took place @ my Radio quarters where I am all alone. Did I say alone. No way ! With my beloved Swamy all around me. It happened after one of my retiring colleague was disappointed for doing my duty honestly and same night immediately after Sivarathri bhajan it happened. The ring Swamy so lovingly gave me after my SAI KATHA @ Kodaikanal got cut few weeks before and I got it repaired as no way I could bear it. Doing anything without that ring in my finger is unimaginable for me. Lot of blood was oozing out but I was watching it with so much calm before my colleagues chided me and put me under medical care. Well! was it Drishti? Don't know. Got firm faith that whatever happens it is Swamy's will. Well Dear ! so much releif as I watched you @ 3 am today. Finally, I'm glad the elders believe in evil eyes. Evil eye is real, in today's time, even on social media. I feel its Swami's way of protecting His daughter, when in my heart I felt, I don't want to and don't like to posts everything on social media, whether it's about Swami or not. Also, I may not get soo emotional as you, rather than getting emotional ,I like to learn from Him. Yes, Swami's example of the importance of EMPATHY by replying to you immediately when you most needed it Trust me, this is the word I've been contemplating on, where is the empathy these days , the importance of listening and understanding. I wonder how people even solve any issues in their life and relationships when there is lack of empathy. My profound thanks to u for sharing such a powerful personal experiences wherein we learn the unflinching faith on SWAMI. I also feel that SWAMI is always walking n guiding us in all walks of life. My son who is now at the helm of affairs , employed in a Public Sector was saved from the clutches of death. 34:17 I would like to comment on this part. Like Swami Vivekananda said, if the stars and planets can decide my destiny, then what is the use of even living, or something like that. I believe that it's God himself who decides what's going to happen, the stars and planets just offer us a way to predict what God has planned for us. Now, these can be pin-point accurate if the astrologer is so skilled, but God can also alter our destiny by his will. In Sanatan Dharma, we believe in the multiverse theory. Even Swami has talked about 'parallel destinies', that is, with our devotion and God's love and will, we can slip from one universe to the other without even knowing it. That's what we mean when we say, "Change your destiny. Create your own destiny." Just like this, say, astrology predicts that our chances of getting involved in a road accident in 2022 is very high. If we surrender to God to protect us, he will. But if we are like, "It's all superstition, I don't need any remedies, I don't need to worship this Shiva and all..." then we might meet with an accident after all.

stream about the concept of the so called Dristi, an evil eye ❤️ in our Telugu literature, for every word, there are two shades like in a currency coin we have head on one side and the tail on the other ❤️ you know what Head means taking you and keeping you at the top level as in human body, head is on the top of the body as Himalayan mountains where as the tail takes man into deep rock bottom stage being exactly the very opposite of the Himalayas ❤️ this way in this particular conept of the so called Dristi, the twins are (1) Dristi and (2) Disti thus the letter R is missing in the second one ❤️ these are one POSITIVE and the other NEGATIVE shades of an eye or a look of any person ❤️we should remember here that both these shades or aspects are GOD's creation ❤️ they are there very much in God ' s Divine Law ❤️ both are very much required by the Lord to deal a particular situation depending on the purpose ❤️these positive and negative energies are used by the Lord as Reward and Punishment to set right the so called MAN because both as per that particular context used by the Lord for inspiring, for enlighting, for the wholesome fruitful result of this so called Man ❤️ IT should not be misunderstood how a punishment given a bad act can be an inspiration ❤️ Yes as the time progresses on one fine morning we will reach a point of realisation as to how this punishment, even let us call punishment but let us say it as a correction as our beloved Swamy says a bitter pill is given by a mother to her dearly loved child to ensure that this pill will bring a positive and fruitful result at the end ❤️ so what we call in our Telugu literature, this particular DISTI is very much there which affects the targeted person in the way you explained in your above narrated experience ❤️ being you all youth, you are not aware of one incident that occurred with one Swamy devotee in the earlier 50s or 60s which I can't remember exactly ❤️ one top singer of Swamy 's bhajans who used to more than our usual quota of bhajans especially at our beloved Swamy 's instance used to come to our Nilayam regularly ❤️ in those days the transport system of was not as convenient as nowadays ❤️ she was from Tamil Nadu and so they used to travel from their place upto Penugonda Railway station and from there they used to come to our Swamy ❤️ on fine day she participated in Swamy 's Mandhir bhajan and was returning home ❤️ there in the train she was humming one Swamy 's bhajan , then, one of the lady passengers, having been attracted by her sweet voice and requested her to sing a full bhajan which this devotee did ❤️ that co traveller applauded this Swamy 's devotee singer to a very great extension ❤️here bomb got blasted ❤️ after reaching home this particular versatile bhajan singer lost her voice, leave alone singing she became dumb ❤️ she was upset because every thing was alright during her entire trip to our Nilayam then why and how this bolt from the blue ❤️ what a terrible shock ❤️ she visited so many physicians but in vain ❤️ she also came to Nilayam and tried her best to convey her tragedy to our Swamy not once but every time of her 3 or 4 visits to Swamy but you know what our all knowing the most Omni potent Swamy did ❤️ He was in His Full Silence all the time ❤️ this tragic effect of hers lasted for more than 2 long years ❤️ Why Swamy did not cure her and got His favourite bhajans got sung by her ❤️ because He's GOD and He has enacted a Divine Law where He put His Commands mostly dealing in CAUSE and EFFECT theory ❤️ He will not and He can not deviate from His Own Act or Law simply because HE'S GOD ❤️ Finally after the lapse of thse two and odd years of period, when this visited, then Swamy has revealed the truth ❤️ Swamy told her that there is an element called DISTI in this whole universe that causes a very bad impact on any one and nobody is an exception because both positive and negative aspects of human life is the very products of the Lord ❤️ no chance to escape ❤️by telling her this truth He explained her so much that DISTI got affected from her co railway passenger was so severe and terrifying that even GOD could not do anything than to keep silent ❤️ however by keeping silent Swamy has started working on this so called Devil silently and finished it once for all otherwise it was so dangerous that her complaint would have continued for a longer period of years ❤️ thus with this incident Swamy tells Man Kind that along with Pancha Bhoothaas, this particular element of DISTi is very much there in human life and all that one has to do is to take care of that with all necessary precaution in the way what you have explained and what our so called with their experience cautioned humanity ❤️here I tell you one very interesting and beautiful point and close my narration ❤️ as you said we all have seen the incidents of our beloved Swamy happily accepting the DISTI offerings in the form of Haarthi ❤️Does He need any DISTI removal ritual ❤️ i tell you what He means by this so called repetitive formality ❤️ To put the truth, for God no such sentimental activities to be entertained ❤️then why ❤️He being GOD will not be affected by such otherwise most unbearable and most dangerous bad eye effects because those elements have come from HIM ONLY ❤️but Swamy as Aravind very aptly and rightly put it, our beloved Swamy is purely an Embodiment of Pure Love, so, He cannot bear the brunt of the so called bad eye effect if it is caused to His most Loved Children, that is we all ourselves ❤️ He can not tolerate such worst situations for His children ❤️ so He plays this drama of DISTi Haarthi so that we with our very zero knowledge feel that when Swamy is ready for this DISTi Haarthi which all our elders also say and when God Himself doesn't want that bad eye hit, why we should remain calm, let us also follow this concept in letter and spirit in our day to day life to avoid bad results ❤️ this is His Sole Aim that no Sai Devotee should fall prey to this most dangerous element and so all this Divine Drama by the so called Creator of all of us ❤️ that is what our beloved Swamy always tells us Suddenly at midnight I wokeup unsually. The post came automatically. I heard this wonderful story. Today I got the rly ticket to go to Shirdi Sai n stay there on Sri Sathya Sai Baba's Birthday on 23.11.2022 at Shirdi. It is also more wonderful. I was also thinking about my son also on ill dristi n in evening l was talking about dristi removal. What a coincidence Swami !!

Brother Arvind..my only gesture is 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 to Bhagawan. In context to Bhagawan's deep looking into your eyes & vice versa, am reminded of a beautiful experience which happened to me when I visited Prasanthi in April 2010 to have Bhagawan's Darshan for Blessings, as I was getting married. It is only for that day and I was to return same evening. By then itself I was told by devotees that it's been few days now that Bhagawan is not coming out to give Darshan, and not sure even for that Morning Darshan. I visited Prasanthi after 10+ years. After knowing the situation I was disappointed much. Sai Kulwant Hall was packed beyond capacity by devotees. Thousands. Managed to got in and just waiting for Bhagawan's Arrival for Darshan unsure of. To my boon of boons, Bhagawan came out to grant Darshan that Morning and I was ecstatic. Swami came slowly on wheel chair and was at portico. I felt somehow / sensed that Bhagawan looked into my eyes from such long distance. I was seated almost at the last lines of the Hall. I was thrilled and with bliss. Okay, my satisfaction. Bhagawan's looks are experienced by many at the single glance at the same time. What made me speechless was..a friend of mine, a non devotee of Swami & a Christian, who casually accompanied me said that he felt that Swami was looking at me...💐🙏🙏🙏

Aum Shri Sairam ... PRANAMS ... Wonderful narration , it's as if the incidents were unfolding before us . Thankyou so much for sharing ... In our therapy sessions , we look at all injuries as the body's way to convey something to us , AND ALL ANKLE INJURIES ARE telling you to slow or simply rest , so there's enough time to introspect ...as the physical body heals with rest , the mind can mend it's ways too.

All of us have Cancer cells in our body , but our immune system takes care of them and most appear free of cancer. When the body and mind is abused to the extreme , the body gives up ... that's when the flare up is noticed . Each organ cancer could mean many different things ... But , through the awareness of the presence of cancer - you could still change - and "leave" the way Parikshit did ... Introspection with proper guidance , could make one fearless... that's one's period to be fearless ! There's a book " Love Peace and Medicine " by Bernie Seaghul ... to enlighten further. Also ...Louise Hay says : Cancer is due to a long standing resentment , deep hurt. Grief eating the self, hatred and purposelessnes . Forgiveness is key along with approval of oneself .

Your experiences are so great to hear. Meanwhile it also makes many like us feel that, "oh I could never get so close to Swami". This is Nazar. So please now also do drishti parihaaram. Aravind Sairam, I have never experienced physical proximity to Swami, but got so close to him in subtle manner. That's how he had miraculously guided me in all life matters and specially my Ph.D. Yes, as you said correctly everyone has their own Swami. I remember those lines of Ashtapadhi, there is a Krishna dancing with every Gopika. We are all so fortunate to have been Saaloki with Swamj, despite us not being so evolved, he came down to our level. Dr GV is again a rarest kind of person. He is so intelligent yet so humble. I remember meeting him about Sai Pancharatnam. He has done so much of work to bring out that beautiful set of krithis. He is so keen about getting Swami's life events recorded in the best possible manner. Jai Sairam.

Sai Ram Brother, your incident reminded me of the power of words as narrated by Paramhansa Yogananda ji in his book Autobiography of a yogi, where he mentions when he was a boy, he one day rubs ointment on his arm, his sister chides him for wasting the ointment to which Yoganada ji says that there will be a boil on this same spot on his hand tommorow and lo and behold it does. Words are pure energy, have to be carefully used. Sai Ram🙏
