Hello Lynn I’ve only just found you and subscribed I’m 74 and in the middle of doing a big declutter in wardrobes over the last 2 weeks. Have already taken 3 bags to charity but isn’t it a lovely feeling when you can see what nice clothes you actually own and to put all the capsule clothes hung nicely in the wardrobe. I’ve yet to start my leggings and skinnies lol that will be this week and then the shoes (that is one I really struggle with as I really am a shoe hoarder cannot get through a month without buying shoes or boots 😂❤️

Oh it’s so satisfying isn’t it, I love it, I open my wardrobe now knowing exactly what I have, everything fits, and it takes 2 mins to choose an outfit, I love it. Oh hahaha you must have a lot then, wow, I’m not a shoe person really, I need comfort these days and so not as many to choose from lol.I’ve yet to do my jeans, leggings etc so I’ll be like you this next week, oh and my pjs, they need a really good sort out… never ending job haha ❤️

So…Lynn, I have been spurred on by your declutter videos and on Monday I decided to make a start on my wardrobes and drawers……today I took three black sacks to my local charity shop they were full of clothes that either don’t fit me anymore or that I just don’t wear and then I set about putting a few ‘good’ items on Vinted………I feel totally liberated and want to say a big thank you for giving me the motivation to declutter……..now I need to go shopping for new items to fill my wardrobes again 🫣🤦‍♀️😆😂

I feel so satisfied myself never mind you Lynn at that clear out 🤗🤗. I did the same thing myself last week, I got rid of loads mainly because my waistline has grown I don’t think it’s going to shrivel back either however much I try so I got rid it’s depressing keep looking at the smaller size tag knowing I’m not going to get back there 🥲. I feel quite content that the smaller labels are not haunting me every time I open my wardrobe and now everything is the same size……weird that isn’t it? 😂. X 🌺🌺

Hi Lynn, I think it is very hard when we keep summer and winter clothes all in one place. Our weather is so changeable what can we can!! I decided to keep my seasonal clothes in a vacuum bag within a suitcase, however as soon as I do it I always want something from it haha. I just adore clothes, not necessarily trendy but smart/comfortable and not following designer labels. I must do more. Hubby took two bags to the dumpster for charity in our village so someone will get good use I am sure. It’s very comforting to know you have achieved something that has played on your mind to get sorted. Content interesting as always Lynn, have a great day, xxx❤❤❤

Once I started to declutter, and get rid of anything that didn’t fit, anything I didn’t wear, and anything that didn’t fit my lifestyle, I felt so much calmer, and focused. Well done for this section…..I did feel for you though (as a small-ish person myself ☺️) having to stretch to get to the hangers. I have - what I call - pulley down poles that my husband fitted when he did the bedroom furniture. So the top hangers can be pulled down easily to get access to all your top rail stuff. Hi , I have been doing the same thing and getting ready for spring weather,but there is still some rain about here in the north of Italy , but lucky yesterday was able to go to the out side market, it's was a wash out the last 2 Tuesday's . I have a Ukrainian friend that works here in Italy, but her Children are in Ukraine a Son and Daughter and grandchildren, well the son-in-law had to go into the army, now they are calling her son as well , she is going to see them next week ,so we have bags full of stuff for her to take over , it's such a mess this world is into , our Mothers Father's and Grandparents some had seen the war years , and we're happy at long last things were getting back to some normality.
