California is like that, summers seem to go on forever. It doesn’t cool down here until November or even later. We can also get 70+F degrees on winter days, we just had a series of them and I think today might be the same. Summer clothes are hard for me, I can’t stand anything except linen tops, skirts, dresses, etc. But, my little laundry area never drops below 80F, so I can’t iron during the warm months, even in the early mornings, with a huge fan and a window AC. So, I’ve been gradually building up my linen wardrobe, so that I can wear each item about three times, then wash it and leave it to iron it over the winter. I have about 5-6 linen dresses, dresses are my thing, and equivalent numbers of other linen items, so I can just about manage this summer. I’m just finishing ironing my linen shorts and two new linen miniskirts-love them. When I’m home alone on hot days, I wear H&M linen jersey dresses, they’re a godsend because they don’t need ironing and are wonderfully cool and airy. They are too thin to wear in public, though, without a slip, which defeats the purpose, so they’re house dresses only. I’m retired, but I do need nice, well-ironed linen clothes for when I go out. Even thin cotton knits like tees are too hot for me in summer. Once one reaches about age 50, the ability to regulate one’s body temperature really diminishes. I can overheat from just walking from one room to another!

I mean it's one of the many reasons I *love* living in Sydney, because you can be dining outside in the middle of winter, but it doesn't quite give you the full spectrum when it comes to outfit options! 30 deg C here again today so I've reached for a little sun dress. For me, anything I can easily wash is basically it right now so I'm in the same boat. Do you have ducted air con/heating through your house? This was one of the things we invested in when we did our renovation and it's made a world of difference! x

Really enjoyed hearing your wish list! The Joseph Ade pleated skirt is beautiful and they come out with new colours every year. It’s a beautiful one and has great movement. They had a cream one in the sale but the smaller sizes are all sold out now. Hope you find your perfect one! 😊😊

I am in the brighter variations of the periwinkle tip blues and lavenders that are coming out! I have a gorgeous blue knit I have In my basket from a local brand right now and have a lavender tank coming to me as both of those would go so well with my blue maxi skirt but I am with you would love a black one that is cotton so it doesn't pill. I am on the hunt for a good pair of flat comfortable leather sandals the st Agni ones are calling my name but its hard for me to justify the price - I may bite the bullet to see if its worth while as I walk everywhere.

Oooh gorgeous! Yes I am so thrilled to see that very specific shade of blue seems to be quite popular right now. I just bought a tee from Assembly Label in that hue, and it matches perfectly with the Sezane skirt (which I decided to keep). I'd be curious to see if you get the St Agni shoes. I've tried four pairs over the years and come to the conclusion they're best for narrow feet (which mine are definitely not). Sad for me but happy for my wallet as their shoes are lovely!

Thanks for sharing! I am looking to get a velvet bag similiar to your Rue d'Eugenie one (or that exact one on sale😅). And I would love a vibrant red cardigan!

My current favorite belts are the narrow, Anagram, belts from Loewe. I got two this spring and I love them, one is reversible (black/tan), the other is ivory.

Oh yes those are lovely! I like that the logo element isn't overt - feels much more subtle than some over brands :)

Please, please put the brand name in a caption on the screen! You speak them so incredibly fast that I can’t understand them. I’m a native English speaker, but US. I understand your speech perfectly, but almost none of the brands you mention are known to me, I just can’t understand them. Something girl, for the first dress brand? If I have to go to a link, I can’t get back to the video again!

Sorry Kimberly! I ran out of time to do any additional editing this week - that said, I usually list them in the description box in order with the brand name (unless I've featured too many items - that's rare though!) so you can always take a little look down there while still on the video? At least that's what I do when I'm on YT. That brand is VRG GRL - used to be "Verge Girl" many years ago but they "rebranded" xx
