Yes, Marte is one of three players that I am thinking need to be traded to get more opportunities for various reasons: Starling Marte, Bret Baty, and Jeff McNeil I believe all should be looking for new clubs to join...Mets have player(s) coming up to fill those spots...plus, their is Winker who I believe will fit the need for 1B and OF if its needed.

Where are the additional moves to protect Soto, lengthen the lineup, add at least 2 top end starters and 2 bullpen arms? I usually like the patient approach, but Dodgers are stocked, Braves are still better and Yankees solidified their SPs. Can't win with fringe starters, need the horses to win it all. I'd be happy with Manaea, Walker, Pete and DH bat. BTW, a play for Tucker would be a boss move and would solidify Uncle Stevie as the Don and Mets can compete with anyone. Let's try and make that happen and move Soto to LF, which is better for him in Citifield.

Tucker makes no sense now. We have Soto Nimmo siri Taylor McNeil Marte plus I see them bringing back winker so that's 7 major league outfielders and 2 more in the minors in Gilbert and Clifford so Tucker (excellent player) doesn't fit. If not for all that I'd love to see him in orange and blue

We’d plug him into 3rd, put Vientos at 1st and then resign Pete for DH(deferred money). I’d give up Jett Williams and maybe one of our 2nd baseman (Acuña or Mauricio) at most depending who we’re going for. Then plug in either Acuña or Mauricio (depending who’s left) at second for our future. Our starting Bats would be complete with this line up.

The pitching lab Lmao. First of all Sean watched Sale pitch and changed his arm slot thats what made him very good it had nothing to do with our pitching lab. Severino-was always incredibly talented but often injured. Iam not excited at all about yhis pitching staff and our bullpen was trash last year and we so far have fone nothing to improve on that either. Alot of fans have more faith in stearns than i do. If you look at his overall signing after sevi and sean last year it was lots of garbage . This core won 101 games in 2022 without Stearns so he had talent to work with.

Mets need 3 starters. Mets can not trade Jett Williams. He has Kirby/Puckett potential..that would be the biggest mistake. METS should sign or have to sign Alonso...Braves, Phillies, Dodgers, San Diego have 4 all star hitters, then 3 star hitters then 2 adequate hitters. They need Alonso and Starting pitching 3 starters.
