That looked really good guys, almost as good as the Key Lime place opposite the station. That poached egg looked fab 😋 I grew up in the black & white days as well ⚫️⚪️⚫️⚪️⚫️

I've driven past that loads of time and never knew it was so nice! Used to be Taskers next door. In the black and white days as Tracy said 😂 I remember Triumph opposite there way before the Asda. Jeez i'm getting old! 😂

Really pleased you visited the warehouse in hunts cross Liverpool. My daughter and two granddaughters live nearby in hunts cross and have often had a lovely breakfast here. They cater so well for little ones too. Barry and I have been a few times for lunch and really enjoyed it. Their coffees are so nice. Xx ❤

Did you call into The Asda on your way back😊. I worked in Halewood years ago and always think of Asda and Barclay's old bank when I hear Hunt's Cross. It looks really nice at tbe cafe

Hi Lesley, no we didn’t 😂😂😂 We don’t know hunts cross that well really - only to drive through 🤔 The cafe was great - we really enjoyed our food 🥘

That place was busy!! The prices seem excellent and the owner seems like he knows what he's doing! A full English is one of my favorite things!! That looks perfect, except I'd say no tinned tomatoes and extra mushrooms!!! If it was fresh tomato, I'd have that too. People don't really eat tinned tomatoes like that here. They are used for cooking. I'm also disappointed that full English's don't seem to have fried bread anymore. Whhhhyyyyyyyy

Hi Marilynn, yes it was very busy - we agree Johnny is definitely onto a winner here - we prefer tinned tomatoes on a breakfast to fresh tomatoes - tinned are more traditional here … haha 😂 I’ve never eaten fried bread 😂😂😂

"When I was a teenager" (was that when they had silent films Colin? (LOL). Price wise your selections were good value. It was certainly very busy which is usually a good sign. We both agree with you Colin about the coffee - as hot as possible please !
