What do you think about the ET65? Is it better than it's Celestion counterpart? Let us know below!

It seems it has more controlled overtones, which might be good or bad depending on the player.

I like this speaker. I actually tend to like most of the guitar speakers from WGS. They all seem well balanced and they deliver the sweetest tones from the ranges they represent. Any WGS you choose will probably be better than good at worse, better than imagined at best. You cannot go wrong.

This is a great sounding speaker! I love the tight bass, character in the midrange and the highs aren’t too fizzy but they cut through the mix really well.

Some brilliant playing there! I'd definitely like to hear an A-B comparison between this and the Creamback 65...they both sound great in your videos, but I'd like to hear how they directly compare.

Git it, Joe! I've heard nothing but good things about these. Been curious about other speakers for the maz18, and a lot of people like this one or the V-Type surprisingly or M creamback in there. What it does in edge of breakup is really special, that's for sure. The high end on this one is just charming.

Great playing and demo!! I’ve been using that speaker for a few years now and it’s one of my favorite speakers. It has a sweet top end, a tight but good bass and just enough mids to sound great with british amps but also great with american amps. It doesn’t have too much of anything but to me it doesn’t lacks anything either. Right now I have it on a laney lion heart 212 birch cab with a celestion g12h creamback. Sounds great.

You guys make it sound really good in this video! I combined this with the Veteran 30 in a 2x12 cab a couple years ago and it sounded… not so good. Maybe I’ll have to revisit

So funny because I was looking into this speaker for a Deluxe Reverb option. Seems to have a 'springy' thing to it

This one gets a thumbs-up for Joe's playing alone, you're really killing it here, mate! Did the speaker inspire you or was it just a special day? 😉

Need to see a comparison against some Celestion speakers that I'm more familiar with like a v30 and creambacks for example.

The ET65 is supposedly based on the G12M-65 Creamback, not the Heritage model. But a comparison of all 3 would be cool. I absolutely love the ET65 in my Marshall DSL40C.

I got a supposedly new old stock et65 with the old label and it has a crazy treble spike that I thought maybe would mellow when it breaks in but right now it is not at all what I thought it would be… very treble heavy… unless I somehow got scammed?

Seems a little thicker than the G12-65 which is cool, but I still prefer the original in this case
