Checking I have the WW2 rules/tactics down as I picked up WW2 Late(Dinged copy at FLGS, no issue as all will go in my Footlocker) and bought some expansions in one of the DVG crowdfunding campaigns, have just decided to table it. So far as a wargame I prefer it to the Modern Warfare system I have been playing till no, easy pre game as many of the soldiers have a set loadout. My only gripe is the expansions are often filled with cards that don't interest me e.g. Nationality expansions have both player cards and that Nationalities enemy cards, I would like more player options and like most generally pick a preferred player nationality. Have I missed something or should you only be fielding 23 Resource points not 18+8+4=30.

Very entertaining let's play, thanks for posting! Looking forward to more of them. I had two questions only because I'm learning this game and have only played two missions so far. It seems that you started with more than the 23 resources that the mission limits you to and I just wanted to be sure that I didn't miss something. Additionally, when attacking I believe that even if an auto gun has multiple hits, it still only results in one kill unless the bipod is deployed for Spray. I'm not positive on this last rule so I'm hoping someone can clarify. Anyways, thanks for the video.

@vyse8 you are correct that the bipod has to be deployed for spray (multiple hits) otherwise it's auto (one hit only) or just semi (1 die). On a separate note, the large truck reinforces every hostile turn unless fully suppressed and although it doesn't attack, I believe you still have to draw a soldier token to see who it targets (it has a range of 0-2) and if the soldier gets out of its range, it doesn't reinforce.

@@RoughSwordsmanWargamer Thanks for the clarification. Do you know how long the deployed bipod stays in effect? I couldn't find any rules around this part. I assume that it's lost once moving but I couldn't find anything that told me that it stays till the following turn even when not moving.

@@matthewvelazquez7892 the bipod comes equipped with the machine gun so it isn't lost and costs an action to deploy it (for spray). When you move, it is no longer deployed and you can't use spray until you spend an action to deploy it again. Hope that helps.

You should have rolled reinforcements for the truck. That is what makes it dangerous. BAR's and M3 SMG's use magazines, not clips.

Yeah deffo its an amazing game. Rules are easy to learn. Rule book has loads of easy to follow steps. Rule book is like 24 pages

One other comment:. The Ambushers have a placement of "Front Most". That means front most location with a soldier. They should have gone into the mission card as that is where the front most soldier is located.

I might be missing something, but how did you get a kill and 2 suppressions on the riflemen with the M3 SMG? I see the one kill but not the 2 suppression. Thanks for the video.

My mistake should only be 1 kill. Auto not spray.
