Follow me on Twitch! www.twitch.tv/novaumbral Note - You may have noticed slight freeze frame bugs during some transitions, I tried multiple re-renders and keyframe changes to fix this and in Premiere the playback was smooth but during final render it kept bugging at 4k output, so I just posted it as is instead of the downscaled quality, hopefully it isn't super distracting.

Amps strong enough to strip Eidolon Shields in seconds. Weapons enough to clear SP rooms in seconds. Maxing all standings. And only hit MR 14 yesterday. Goes to show how much Warframe has. I am surprised. How did you get MR so quick? 😹

One more tip, if your wrist hasn't been damaged waaaaay too much from playing the game, as Madurai, you can flick your mouse down as your operator staring at the floor where you're standing, do double dash quickly (It doesn't seem like a "dash" but it registers) and then press melee again, you'll get the cast speed and power strength after spending like .4 seconds on the operator form. I've been doing this for months and it's so much fun. Also cool video. It's such a breath of fresh air looking at videos elaborating the gameplays. Took me back to the older Warframe days :D

2 things: 1: I know the weapon build doesn't really matter as much, but I'm tempted to ask a bit more about the Nikana build. Mostly because I've been very tempted to build a nikana, but ended up looking at just about every variety of Nikana OTHER than prime or dragon. (Namely, was thinking either Dex for its faster combo gimmick; Syam because it just looks cool, has a unique heavy attack, & seems like the fandom's favorite close-second nikana overall) 2: I guess it's a matter of practice, but it's amazing to see how such small changes make such a big difference, since I feel like I've done most of these things but still don't get anywhere near max speed.
@APLItsFlaulineАй бұрын
Personally, I do not try to do this but I end up doing this anyways. Maybe it's something similar to the flow state if it isn't the flow state itself. After hundreds of hours playing the game, it feels natural to play like this, at least for me. Maybe training to achieve this accelerate the process but I don't think that is mandatory at all. If your movements are not smooth nor quick then, you might end up stun for a brief moment and get killed. While playing the game, you'll see how to avoid hard landings, to prevent immobility, in fact to master your movements. Then you will mix that with your ways to deal with the flow of ennemies, taking advantages of your builds and doing the objectives, all at the same time. I have a good example with Mesa. At first you are simply activating Peacemaker. After some hours playing, you will end up using all her buffs before using your peacemaker (if you didn't do it the first time). Then you'll see that you can activate Peacemaker while airborn and with the momentum created you will use Peacemaker while moving. Later, when you have access to a decent priming tool, you will use it before or while builing the momentum an then use Peacemaker. After that, you can develop the combo with a ton of tools, there is a lot of them you can use. You started with a basic Peacemaker and end up with a Steel Path Nuking machine. Training for this seems off, however I think players should try to do this when they are playing, to have a better management of their actions. At some moment, they will no longer try, it will be natural.
@NovaUmbralАй бұрын
Of course it comes natural, but I always get asked how I do it, and so I think maybe breaking it down frame by frame could be helpful for those who feel "stuck" or are intrigued by (to us) natural movement and gameplay. Its also interesting to see how many layers are added all at once in gameplay but when broken down you get to really see it all. Ultimately its just practice with new techniques bit by bit until you've gotten it all down.

I play Vauban, and something I've been doing is dash attacking over vector pad, combining the momentum and allowing for some pretty fast movement. I've been using it with Okina prime(spinning needle), but it works well on any decent dash attack stance. I discovered this when leveling Ghoulsaw, sent me completely across hydron insanely fast. I haven't tested it yet but I'm pretty sure this technique will also work with: Caliban, Gauss, Hydroid, Revenant, Rhino, and (maybe) Valkyr. These frames have movement abilities that aren't buff based or lock you out of melee. I have also done it with Lavos, but it's mostly just adding the two distances together, rather than speeding them up or extending them in any way.

"For those sensitive to fast moving images and flashing footage, viewer discretion is advised" At risk of sounding extremely ableist... I feel like Warframe is "Fast Moving Images And Flashing Footage: The Game", so I'm not sure if people with photosensitive epilepsy can even play it. Though doing some due diligence and looking it up, apparently there ARE accessibility options to reduce visual effects, so maybe it's not as bad as it seems.
@nottelling215Ай бұрын
As someone who tried to get someone who did suffer from photosensitivity issues (to the degree of seizures) into the game briefly-nope, its impossible. The literal tutorial features flashing lightning at night, which alone would be terrible, but the various accessibility options dont even work, as there are plenty of bright flashy stuff they dont turn off-and important visuals they inexplicably do.

Hello NovaUmbral for a video idea i would like explore, is AOE and Solo target weapons, like Kuva Ogris or Prisma Grakata, i know warframe is a Horde Shooter and there was the whole ammo nerf for AOE weapons, coz of people not liking that weapons like the Prisma Grakata being weak (so i have heard), I like when i have both but sometimes it can get pretty boring if you just shoot AOE all the time at least for me. This idea came to me coz i can somewhat do steelpath i have a few weapons that can help me do that, but i got a bit demotived when i wanted to farm Mother Tokens on Deimos and i am doing Steelpath on that, and i feel like i don't do anything and my Teamates almost oneshot everything with their weapons

Yo man I love your vids, but since the topic is gameplay, can you at some point make a video about play styles? Not in builds but rather, how people play the game. I ask because when I play solo, I take my time, explore the tilesets, find things and what not, but playing with people if I dont go fast and ignore the tilesets, I can barely play because people will kill everything on sight Why is that? These big maps that most people playing together almost ignore because they Speedrun the missions, why does that happen?

I'm MR28 with upwards of 1900hrs in Warframe and watching this video made me realize just how much of a scrub I really am, _IF ONLY_ because I have a nasty habit of building the individual parts of my loadouts in a vacuum, i.e. I just put stuff together without thinking about how they actually interact and synergize with each other. If I do, it's usually either by accident and full of holes (e.g. "Blade Dancer" Mirage or "Predator" Ivara) or it's for one specific goal that is then discarded once that goal is fulfilled (e.g. Slide Attack Banshee). Looks like I need to rethink some things.
@ThalanoxАй бұрын
I'm kinda like this, only I've been playing off and on, and it's been a _long_ time since I was 100% up with all the content. Loyal merulina - the augment letting you not ride merulina is the single greatest augment in warframe - in terms of improving on a weakness in a kit. Merulina on paper is amazing: it tanks damage for you with 90% DR and gives you a gate when it dies - letting you respawn it instantly without taking any damage. But, you had to ride merulina, which is what made Yareli one of the worst frames ever. Now, you get all the benefits of practical invulnerability WITHOUT any of the mobility / weapon restriction downsides. As a frequent Yareli player myself, I can always tell if someone knows what they are talking about by if they are running Loyal Merulina. This mod solidifies Yareli as a brilliant frame.
@psycomachiaАй бұрын
I still don't run it, considering how strong secondaries are in this game you can just bring a furax and an incarnon, if you really can't parkour a particular area just get off for like 3 seconds. It's a QoL augment and doesn't elevate yareli to that degree, she was never one of the worst frames and I'm tired of that rhetoric.
@ryoougi9088Ай бұрын
and its not even damage reduction, its damage REDIRECTION which works on overguard, bring a fortifier and you will play the game mindlessly up to level cap
@lewdlemur8899Ай бұрын
Im sorry but youre objectivly wrong, Merulina is NOT a detrimental downside, its a good movement tool once you get used to it. Weapon restriction is another point but Yareli is made for Secondarys so its not pulling away much from her upsides not beeing able to use Primarys and Melees as you usually wanna run Furax for Body count anyway. Once you are familiar with how Merulina controls youre on par speed wise with frames like Wisp, Low Strength Volt and non-razorblitz Titania. Is it anoying to control in very tight coridors? Yes. But i personally dont have problems blitzing through Earths Ship tilesets for example. But thats like saying a frame is bad because they are not good in a specific gamemode like SP Interception. Also, not using Loyal Merulina allows you to use Merulina Guardian wich is an INSANE dps increase for secondarys, giving a huge Fire Rate and Reload Speed buff making her shine with Secondarys that can really benefit from insane Crit, Fire Rate and Reload Speed Buffs like Lex Incarnon, Tenet Plinx, Sicarus incarnon but also giving you the option to make almost every Crit Based Secondary really good. If you personally dont like how Merulina plays thats fine, but saying shes the "worst frame" with Merulina is just flat out wrong
@starstreakalex7372Ай бұрын
@lewdlemur8899 I use 3 tau Parkour shards and okina incarnon for my mobility, so I'm leaping around the tileset effortlessly in half the time it would take to do the same riding merulina. My weapon choices are always unrestricted as all of the weapon builds I use are tried and tested for the highest levels of steel path, so adding an extra 200% additive critical chance to a pistol that's already doing tier 5 crits is meaningless to me- I will just use whatever weapon I want.
