Do NOT trust wikis to have accurate information on new features like this. People just jump on with incomplete conjecture about how these systems work all the time - I'm sure within a few weeks it'll be properly updated

I got this same message, was dating Aoi, Aoi didn't move in after this. I also had just Beat Friends status but I had romance lines from her and her Gemini Skin. I Left Aoi for Eleanor, the instant I started dating Eleanor, she moved in. The Chemistry feature is heavily bugged

Similar bug happened to me, wait for daily reset and do a mission for her chemistry first, then send a gift before chatting if she has messages for ya. Should fix it right up
