This may be a year old but thank you I haven't been able to rap my head around his abilities I thought the damage multiplier was for weapons and didn't understand y it wasn't nerfed or dealing damage thx

I like that you worked more versatility into these. It seems like all the Chroma builds out there ONLY focus on one thing, whether that was Eidolons in the past or Profit Taker now, and you NEVER see one for general use in, like the Starchart. Like, they assume you either ONLY use Chroma for these specific fights, or you have MULTIPLE Chromas to build in each direction...

My math was wrong on the previous comment. So I'll summarise. You don't get diminishing returns cuz of damage reductions. i.e 1 point of armour at 0 armour will give you the exact same EHP that 1 point of armour at 10k armour. What u get is diminishing efficiency between the "increase". Slapping a strength mod that will boost your Vex armour AND Elemental ward neats you more armour than slapping steel fibre. That said Umbra Fiber is GREAT on Chroma, you get another "increase" + you also buff intensify and vitality. Cheers good vid

Wow, your build is totally different from mine, I use empower, energy conversion, hunter adrenaline, and quick thinking + power strength mods + panzer vulpithyla's health steal for max survivability + dmg buff, oh and don't forget about fire or ice for more energy vs armor

I think you misunderstand how armor actually affects EHP as it approaches 100% damage reduction. Armor's actual damage reduction goes down per point of armor you have, but every 300 armor is always effectively your current HP in total damage you can take. It's more accurate to say that armor is completely linear in terms of EHP than to say it experiences harsh diminishing returns. going from 90% DR to 91% DR cuts the damage you're taking by 10%, it's all proportional.

At the time yes. I ended up doing the math later and realizing, however I left this in these videos anyway because I still don’t feel like cranking 3 armor mods is better than other things you can do. My oberon guide was a great example on this because he gets armor from his abilities too. So many people just crank armor when there are better options.

I don’t believe I did because its a bit situational. Toxin can be good to get some reload speed and holster speed and some bonus damage when switching, but I can’t image there is a ton of situations this would be utilized unless we’re talking low level when the amount of tank on chroma doesn’t matter. In terms of being tanky, you have fire (health) and cold (armor) as options, which is also situational in itself depending on your current health and armor before being buffed by it with elemental ward. On my builds that provide 850 Health and 425 armor, armor will provide more than double the Effective Hit Points (EHP) at my strength. However, Vex armor also gives armor. When considering for 333% strength and not using Empower for my build, you’re looking at nearly 5000 armor for this build. At 850 health this gives you almost 15k EHP. With more health from fire elemental ward you nearly double that at 27k. Even if I added 2k more armor it would only bring it to about 20k. I’m not saying thats what cold elemental ward adds, as I’m not 100% sure how they stack together, but your safest bet with Vex armor active, is the extra health from fire. I would say electricity as a whole is a bad choice. Don’t be fooled by the tooltip.

Names of weapons are shown in the bottom right when the weapon is equipped. The archgun used in profit taker is Imperator Vandal. So its sort of the same gun, but it's a variant of it you get from Balor Fomorians.

Yes its just a more selfish take than the regular build since you wont be buffing anybody else. Its also pretty expensive in terms of energy so that could be an issue.

I actually just mentioned this on another comment haha but I’ll likely do a short video about it soon. I just was having a hard time balancing my other job on top of 3 day projects for each video. Also had some health problems I was working out, but I’ll likely be returning to KZbin, but not necessarily to just Warframe.
