Honestly it's pretty classic warframe-esque. Hot take maybe but not every frame has to be so expressive in idles.

Ykw... I like his animations! He’s not doing workouts with his speargun like Styanax, and he’s not doing, “WATCH ME DO A FLIP,” with his pistol as Gauss. He’s just a normal soldier with some very nice abilities, and I like that!

He comes with his own Exalted Sniper and it works SO well with his three other abilities.

But at the same time, you've made me want to know more! ... actually, what abilities does he utilize? I haven't heard what he could do other than him having an exalted sniper, tbh.

Honestly, I REALLY want him not just for his exalted sniper rifle, but for his resupply ability that allows you to use any elemental type (including combination elementals) as ammo. He’s gonna be so good for Stealth missions!

@@TheMrMayo He has a Radar that sees enemies' weakspots through walls, your weapons gain punch through after the radar is active. So you can shoot through the walls at the highlighted enemies. 2nd one is Ressupply. Possibly the most broken ability in his kit. He is able to resupply himself and his teammates. Not only that, he grants them status effects of his choosing whole holding down the ability button. All of the elements are there except for Tau and Void element. Evade is when he goes invisible, cleansing you of any status effects. Now you may think that "Hey that's Ash and Ivara's ability." And right you are, but he does it better. Any HS kills heals Cyte 09 to full health and extends the timer. It is on a cooldown after he gets out of it, but you can bypass that by staying invisible the whole time. Cause the cooldown starts after you go invis. You can bypass the cooldown. His 4th is called Neutralize. He uses his Exalted Sniper and it has an alternative fire, where you can fully freeze an enemy. Pair his sniper with his 1, 2, AND 3 because all of his abilities work in harmony and you can heals, elements, and punch through. HE'S THAT BROKEN!!

Considering his theme, makes sense his animations are on the more subdued side. But I also like to think that since Cyte-09 was never actually made until we got his blueprints, there isn't any personality to base his animations on, since Drifter confirms in a chat message that fragments of a Warframe's original personality influence how the Drifter(and by extension the Operator) moves and does stuff while using that Warframe, basically an explanation for how idle animations actually relate to a Warframe canonically.

What track is this over the video? Haven't had time to play the new update, so it's unfamiliar. Great 90s-adjacent flare to it. They really did their work on this update to channel the feeling of the late 90s, which is amazing. Probably helps a lot of the team either were kids or teens during the actual 90s.

I really like his idle animations, matches with his personality. But looking at his ability animations, it's quite the opposite; him jumping in air just to plant a beacon, and spinning to summon his exalted sniper feels like too much animation.

Nah. I'm really tired of flashy stuff with lots of movement, these simple animations where most expressions are done with gestures seem far more fitting for some frames.

Man, people really like these. I still think they are too bland. I know people are tired of seeing super detailed/complex stuff. But imo these are too bland. None of them have any flare or interest what so ever. Its a commando warframe. None of these animations even suggest this theme and i think thats a missed opportunity.

@@Itz2Cathe not a Buckingham Palace Royal Guard, all of his motion doesn't need to be expressive. Use other idle if you don't like this one then, Sevagoth is the closet to Cyte, replace with that.
