For anyone having problems building the combos: The Arcane Dextery in both weapons are ultra neceesary, they give you the 20s combo duration on Desert Wind. The Helmint Zephyr ability does an amazing sinergy, this is by far one of the best builds I've ever saw. Narmon isn't necessary at all, unless you want to keep your combo for a long long time.

Through vigorous testing with baruuk I've found that it's honestly pretty comfy to just use ditch your melees stats and build it for all the gladiator mods, combo duration, range and attack speed you can fit run naramon and just use the waves, they dont one shot enemies and they'll eventually fall off pretty hard given a few hours in steel path but you can clear rooms in all content outside of endurance and could possibly even still do it using the slide attack

Pull from Mag has 25m and Energy Drop Chance per pull, which Baruuk really needs. Since his Lull is also 25m it's easy to know that anyone whipped up by Pull will be affected by Lull and add to his restraint. Btw, I added Rage & Hunter Adrenaline to the build and that seemed good for energy management (no Flow). When you have lots of enemy like MOT SP Survival, it's good, but having a few enemy here like lots of missions, you'll be hanging with a group for a bit taking hits for energy and casting Lull to build up restraint for a minute before jumping into a crowd or taking on an Acolyte. Just be sure to keep you dagger number over 9 so you can take that beating.

What I've always wondered on baruuk is why not run viral on fists since reactive storm adapts to enemy weakness? Would the 10× viral stacks not be beneficial?

corrosive + acolytes = DEAD viral + acolytes = not so dead corrosive + enemies = DEAD viral + enemies = DEAD it doesnt matter too much which of the two you actually put on baruuk's exalted, it's going to mop the floor either way; even more so with faction mods, but corrosive will assist you in saying A Mimir to acolytes viral in itself isn't very good, what makes it good is the effect it has. in this case, one shotting 90% of enemies does not really allow you to even take much/any benefit of viral and corrosive has higher raw damage, so you're losing damage in most circumstances (i suggest adjusting the setup for corpus tho)

ensnare is slower. and needs duration and you can't override the CC with Lull when they're ensnared, same thing with larva. It's a negative duration build.

For companions I think a sentinel with the Helstrum would be nice. It stays with you so only enemies nearby get attacked. giving them an unleveled attack mod maybe cause that would make them attack only really close enemies. With that you can use the Helstrum with lots of Status Chance, Multishot, Viral and maybe Firestorm for spread to get lots of Viral procs on the enemies in front of you. That's what I was thinking at least 😅

Zephyr airburst is used over ensnare due to the negative duration for lull spam. They do the same thing to be honest but ensnare requires duration and zephyr airbust doesn't require duration. If that isn't enough for you I think there is an operator arcane that can group enemies as well as the probicious ceranos

The red crits are given by the melee gladiator set you will build your combo with your melee then swap to Baruuk 4 and there you go dont matter about if u hit the target directly only important if u are running condition overload which to proc it u will need to get up close to the target with his 4th

@@puckvagabond3472 You can use whatever you want tbh. His builds are flexible and are not set in stone. The air burst adds a shit ton of utility with cc and building up combo meter quickly. You are free to use whatever you want. Try experimenting with different combos and see what you like.

The stat stick is just there for the gladiator mods set and just in case he needs to actually kill (if he messes up with restraint) not for actually be used. Also the reason nothing is there is because you're supposed to get restraint down, activate the fists while clumping enemies with airburst, then hit them with a slide attack, this will build up your combo. Also heads up use the primary and secondary arcanes (dexterity) on your weapons and naramon if you want to keep combo count from decaying immediately after 20s, if you start seeing orange crits again use the airburst combo (definitely recommended just before an acolyte spawns) and you'll be good

@@gamwtizesti @The Simp correct, I understand Baruuk now, however you can use whatever mods you want on his melee stat stick along with the gladiator set bonus mods. With my current setup I'm red critting with ease. Naramon to keep combo, Melee Guidance to make his combo work, all the gladiator mods on Warframe and melee stat stick, melee stat stick needs to build combo fast so mine is tuned for that with a riven and true punishment, subsuming his first is personal choice so I went with pillage, arcane strike, arcane fury, 160 efficiency, prisma shade with auger mods, and desert wind is basically the same as Knightmare Frame.

Baruuk is an absolute monster, granted. Maybe I'm just bad, though. Needing to focus on maintaining energy, restraint, and combo levels all while handling map objectives and getting out of bad situations seems to be more things than I can balance. Also, it feels like I can get results like these with something much simpler to play like Gauss/Zarr.

Nope! Xoris DID work like that on launch but DE nerfed it for some unknown reason, you dont lose combo it just doesnt apply to your 4. Tenet melees work the same way I think.
