Warframe is probably the only game like this I didn't care for. Maybe I gave up on it too soon. I just wasn't feeling it.

It's not as traditional as other looters, which I wouldn't say hurts it, but other looters have a tendency to evoke dopamine and satisfaction sooner and more frequently, whereas this game kinda requires more learning up front, and that's where people draw satisfaction from. Like learning movement tech like bullet jumps is huge, practicing security hacks (which there are a ton now), upgrading and dissolving mods and choosing the right ones to make a functional early game build, unlocking new systems like raising a beast pet and flying the Archwing and the spaceship, not to mention the wild and unexpected places the story goes which, on its own, is worth yhe time spent playing. These things tend to take the place of the easier to produce "yay I just got a legendary piece of loot" which usually falls flat and isn't as exciting the 10000th time it happens. TLDR: There's more up front work to get into Warframe, but when a person really clicks with it, it clicks hard. And I'm happy more people are clicking with it lately.
