One thing to note is that sources of radiation damage stack upon itself multiplicatively. I was able to get my hound with synergized prospectus to nuke entire rooms with lapping fields while it launches its bomblet through it at the enemies.

managed to break the charge mechanic on the weapon, resulting in tap firing the beam. I'll try to replicate it but that much power did crash my game

You need to hold fire again immediately after firing. It's just a timing thing. Or are you talking about another method? You can try it in an archwing or a necramech without the stagger.

i was able to replicate it, just dont be the host and you will only shoot the beam, and with cyte 09 the trail goes through walls too

Too bad the weapon itself is a clunky mess like the larkspur lol. Every weapon that has a charge attack that stumbles you backwards or simply prevents reloading or switching weapons for a moment afterwards is a huge L.

I addressed that around 1 minute in. You can pretty much do normal parkour and never get staggered.

@@Semaradrid Yeah i know but it shouldn't be a thing to begin with, it was a stupid mechanic with the larkspur and because everyone hated it, DE gives us another weapon that does it?

@@Darthmufin I agree, but the funny thing is, I'd imagine they overlooked the radiation field stacking as well as retaining full charge because they only tested with stagger. So them trying to restrict the weapons power just made it much stronger.

Just increase the fire rate. Its not clunky at all. You should spend more time with thing to figure them out.

that thing is legal wallhack for the whole squad, haven't crashed the game with it yet tho

so wallhack only seems to work for allied cyte-09s, could be a bug, who knows, it has other bugs too so I'd wait with investing in it
