Stacking serration with acolyte arcanes is not a good option, while it may be satisfying to see bigger damage numbers on the weapon, you will be getting much more than that once you’ve gotten your stacks up, and you don’t even need to get your stacks up if you just use primary dexterity

Voruna does work quite well with the new arcane, but only with her 4. That ability benefits from her 1, but doesn't break its stealth. It also does crit.

Arcane crepuscular cd isn't as important when combined with doughy (which is also final). I made a script to optimize the calculations and fury + avenger with a ceramic dagger incarnon is the optimal build for atlas.

The game actually does not reapplie the full crit damage multiplier when going to a higher crit tier, it first substracts 1. The formula is actual_dmg-mult=1+(crit_mult-1)*crit_tier For example if you had a 3x crit multiplier it the damage mult would look like this: 0th-level crit (aka non crit): 1x 1st-level crit: 3x 2nd-level crit: 5x 3rd-level crit: 7x This makes a high crit damage even more important when you go for red crits.

I always forget, does Peacemaker for Mesa count as shooting a weapon? Will it pull you out of Huras invis or can that combo work with this arcane?

That was one of the first things I tried with my Mesa, it definitely counts as shooting a weapon, you get de-stralthed as soon as you pull the trigger to fire Peacemaker. You can stay invisible while in Peacemaker, you just can't shoot and stay invis.

It works with Quiver for sure. One of the first things I did when I got r4 crepuscular was make a build centered around it with Mesa and it preformed very well! However pretty comparable to the more reliable Nourish Avenger build. But I think I need to test it a lot more I was mostly dinking around in simulacrum and SP exterminates. I'm sure a CC will inevitably come out with a Crepuscular Mesa build that becomes the new Mesa BIS. 😅

@@vornysamoyed6340 is not that the glitch is not abusable with it, if it still worked it would actually help it, but they patch it in the same update they introduce this arcane. And it killed my favorite thing to do with ivara, having infinite crit damage in mediocre weapons to actually solo level cap endurance... Patching a glitch that has been used by ivara mains for 3+ years to then get the discounted version of it on an arcane, and at first I was happy with this arcane I just got thought it would be perfect for my ivara with the quiver stack, spent all the platinum I had left on a rank 5 to then go on a steel path mission for 4 hours just to notice the numbers were off and then to get aware of it being patched in the notes feels like a gut punch. It's alright ivara can still do stuff not as good as before but there is no way I'm not gonna get mad over this, call it childish or whatever you want.
