Imagine training, fighting, losing your parents, and enduring horrific abuse for years, and then condescendingly being called a child. I see Teshin's point, but I understand the operator's pov as well. This expansion is going to break me. I've been growing up with this game. I was 14 when it came out. I remember so much that has been lost or changed. I remember playing this when I had no friends, I remember how the Lotus reminded me of my mom. I remember playing this after I lost the ability to see my mom anymore.. Natah was all I had for the memories to be there, to have some semblance of mom still being around. Now, having to stare her down as an enemy? As an adult now, I feel that this update will hurt. I've had this game be a part of me and it's really impacted my life. I've spent far more than I should have ever spent on it, I got my dad to play it, I made friends through it. I found some semblance of peace through it.. I feel the emotion in this trailer because it'll be that same emotion burning in me by the time this is over.

I LOVE trailers that perfectly represents their ingame counterparts (Think: League of Legends - A New Dawn, or StarCraft - Legacy of the Void). There are COUNTLESS details in this trailer: The burst fire of the Grakata the Grineer is firing, to the Aksomati Prime spooling up, when Nova is shooting them, to the Boltor ragdolling the Grineer and pinning them to the walls, to the area perfectly depicting the Grineer Galleon-tileset, to the Bombard wielding the A.T. Ogris, to how the different damage types of the different weapons that are used inflict damage to the grineer in different ways, and of course all the signature abilties used by the Warframes. It's all there and representing the game in style and respect. Absolutely stunning and amazing work by everyone involved. Fucking well done - You all deserve a medal

God seeing all this you really realize how important the lotus is to us as the the tenno. And how important she was as our anchor to mental stability. The scenes that really got me were the two at the end

Absolutely stunning. This trailer gave me chills. Like omg this is perfection. I am so happy warframe has been around this long, and for me to experience this transformation of the game to be this masterpiece it is today. I can't wait to see what is coming!

Based on the cutscenes we saw in game so far, I feel like the Lotus is going to remember everything at some point. She was all mixed up, believing that the old war was still going on, recounting certain events. She even seemed to remember her fighting on the Orokin side during the old war cutscene. When she was starting to remember more and more she was slammed into that thing, so what ever they did to "restore" her basically blocked off events after the old war, such as what made her decide the Tenno were her "children" and then to wipe out the Orokin, casting Lua into the void, and so on. I know it said that Natah wanted children, but the events leading up to it are still unknown. She spoke about Margulis and Ballas rambled about how she essentially pretended to be something people wanted. For him it was Margulis, for the Tenno it was a mother. The Lotus knew her entire history based on the second dream quest, so I doubt she was pretending at that point. She wiped out an empire, tossed a moon into the void, and was willing to come out of hiding to help the Tenno even if all we see is her pick us up and place us in the transference machine. Doesn't seem much like an act. Now, based on this trailer, she seemed almost happy to see the Tenno, so I think she's starting to remember more and more. I think it will be a conflict of personalities. While in the old war she seemed rather simple. Her first sentence during the cutscene was "Let her go." It felt like she was pausing briefly between the words. This could be the Let. Her. Go. thing to show her anger and such. But I feel like it might be something akin to how simple ai might speak. "I recognize the enemy." Her response wasn't really as sophisticated as it was during the game. She didn't respond to any prodding and only spoke when she was called Natah we know what her response was. "I am not Natah. I am... the Lotus." Dramatic. Or just simple. So we have Natah, the Lotus as the Orokin weapon, the Lotus who is the "mother" to all the Tenno that was the "current" personality. Ballas seemed convinced that she's Margulis, a Ballas said she was trapped, "just as she was." in reference to Margulis. I might be over thinking and jumping to conclusions. But she did seem to take Margulis' place based on the dialogue in some quests. So we also seem to have her emulating or simply being "inspired" by Margulis behavior towards the Tenno that might have spur on the whole "I want children" despite being barren. Regardless, the fact she seems happy suggest she's seeing the tenno as one of her kids, but the fact she's not reacting to the sentient around her is probably because the Natah personality is still there, and without any memories or possibly because of mixed memories but lacking other key memories, such as the sentient being the enemy, she sees nothing wrong with what's going on. Especially with her not seeing anything wrong with her forma. She just says it "what I am." Whatever they did jumbled everything up, but it's not perfect since she's certain she and the Tenno killed Erra. She even up and was like "no we killed you." She's starting to remember. Her confusion at the Tenno preparing to attack like she doesn't understand why they would try to hurt her will probably lead to questions, since in her eyes (I'm assuming) that's one of her kids, which will lead to more memories coming back. Which the sentients want to avoid based on their actions when she remembered that Ballas was a Orokin and thus the enemy, not to mention she was a big reason the sentients lost in the first place. So she'll probably come back late in this story, possibly too late, or we'll just see a lot of internal conflict. Like how her eyes seemed to twitch when she saw tears, but did nothing. Or not. Could happen. Might not. Well I'm done barfing half-baked theories on this comment section like a fanfic writer, so I'll leave a Neat and be on my way. *Neat*
