the "let people enjoy things" rhetoric is perfectly valid but it's also... not particularly important in this whole stupid discussion. it's not just that he's fun, there's plenty of fun garbage in Warframe. it's that he's not even garbage. the delusion has gone too far. That said, given what overframe looks like any given day, the AVERAGE community opinion on anything is wrong, so it's not like this is a new phenomenon.

I look at what people are calling bad and trust me Oberon and Loki are talked about plenty. In most games the support characters are considered bad because most people are used to the damage numbers of the damage characters and anything less feels bad to them.

Good point and good video(except anime parts) I definitely did enjoyed and was really surprised when carried random party to lvlcap in curcuit runs with just 2 forma qorvex when he came out. Otherwise never had a use of him cuz not doing survival slow type missions. Gonna steal your build for sure and maybe try playing him again, very convincing video you have here.

Thanks for watching the video! In all honesty a better build would be if you were to build for more range than strength, I built for strength for the armor stripe because haha funny number. Honestly I find enjoyment playing him any way.

I slapped on Pillage to replace his first, more than 320% strength (thats without Molt Aug.), Corrosive Projection, has a 100% armor strip regardless of what im fighting, wrecking adds to the stripping potential, spam your 4th, you win anything and everything. the WHOLE room goes Boom-Boom :D (anyone that actually thinks he's bad doesnt know how to play him, he is my best Demon Core Boi)

@TheREALGoofy_ As a Qorvex main, Tauforged Crimson shards go a LONG way to add to the strength. Arcane battery to make up for the lowered efficiency. A few team buffs stacking and you could easily hit 6 mil Demon Core dps 😈 absolutely MELTS everything esp with the strip potential. Recommended! Any mode. Any level. Any faction. He RIPS and TEARS :D and is still tanky asf lol

decent build (mine's no better tho lmao), but all the strength you'll need comes from umbral intensify. range helps both wrecking wall and pillars going brrrrrrrrrrr; increased chance for 5 things to be smashed lol. the play with qorvex (imho) is to balance the stuff being microwaved with there being enemies to wrecking wall. survival is by far the best kind of mission for him lol. he was the reason i actually got into warframe (what 11 month hiatus due to my crippling warthunder addiction). i only got him recently, but nova umbral; despite being someone i enjoy watching, is insane lmao. qorvex is great at one thing and one thing only, microwave like, all of the things as soon as they spawn, and not die. thanks for listening to my bs again lmao. im out of video ideas for now (this will not last), i mean, the only other thing i can think of (that i have) is soma prime.

I still think the only bad ability he bas was his wall which tbe augment fixed, other than that he's supposed to be a mostly defensive frame given the pillars' existence so despite not bejng built or intended to room clear and moreso intended to defend, he still can nuke a room cuz of the 4 Meanwhile chroma can barely do anything with his abilities outside of 2x credits in höllvania or profit taker and needs an inaros style rework immediately

i don't understand why qorvex is supposed to be bad? he's got amaing health and armor stats and unlike inaros, nidus and the like he's got some amount of shield for some occasional gating. with an augment you can strip 100% of enemy armor and shields. i run uhh the umbral set on my qorvex with adaptation because i decided dying is cringe. also arcane reaper and sancti magistar incarnon because death is for the weak. he's got a status immunity ability which is really nice to have? like, i used to play valkyr a lot because she had a really high armor stat and i just wanted a simple health tank of some sort. and here is the konk kreet man with over twice the health and even more armor. defense strip and stat immunity with the very high survival stats by itself makes him a warframe i really like to play a lot cause who needs to pay too much attention to enemy attacks and stuff if enemies cannot even scratch you. oh yeah there is also one or two regen shards on him but i am well aware of how excessive that is. like, he is clearly capable and useful. stat immunity and def strip will always be good. against level 9999 enemies i guess he might not survive but then again that's a different topic and a rather specific circumstance. how is he the worst? it is a mystery to me also for getting energy i use one of those energy for health damage mods? since i can tank most damage that's an easy source of energy

Well most of his abilities ( his first, second, and fourth) do have you use them a lot. But you can build him for a weapons platform because of his passive and maybe a helminth ability, honestly it’s a niche that works only a few times in my opinion.

@TheREALGoofy_ but it's his passive! It's always on! One of umbra's complaints is that qorvex is energy hungry (which I think you solved with that arcane. Pretty cool stuff). I haven't played with him yet, still in the star chart but excited to use him. From how I see it the pillar makes enemies turn on each other which natural groups them up to then all get shot with blow through. And his walls group people up to then all get shot with blow through. The blow through was the thing that umbra liked the most about qorvex and then he didn't mention it for the rest of the video. Again I haven't actually played qorvex so I don't know how he feels but that's what it looks like the intention is to me.

I will still call qorvex the worst frame in the game even if he isn't. Why? So he gets fixed, because if we don't complain we won't see any improvements to him. I want him to be both fun AND good. Also, the thing is, while qorvex isn't absolute trash, we kinda run out of bad frames since the inaros rework, so calling any frame "the worst" doesn't mean much, how many frames can even be considered "bad"? 10? I would put qorvex in the bottom 5 frames in the game but that's only because the fixed all the ones that pulled the average down, like nyx, hydroid, and inaros, so qorvex just became "bad" because the definition of "bad" changed. Tbh, Qorvex COULD be considered the worst, since there are now weapons and companions that can nuke rooms without the massive energy cost and clankiness, and Qorvex can't really do anything but nuke, so he is competing with every other nuke in the game and out of all of them he doesn't do very well, sohuf they just made him do MORE stuff he would be considered much better in my eyes, like make him generate energy (cause he is a nuclear reactor)

the range is necessary for pillar chain explosions, the damage doesn't scale from strength, but range allows containment wall (with augment) to reach farther and allows the pillar itself to reach farther too, meaning more destruction

And if you can’t hit anything with containment wall base range then I got news for you pal 😎 sounds like a skill issue to me. It does scale off strength but you don’t need more than 200% for full strip from his wall augment lol (when fully stripped and primed your ult should be one shotting lmao you don’t need “range for more dmg” 😂) And here’s the thing before you say the pillar needs more aoe for room clear. I’m going to introduce this crazy idea. After you clear one room, put two pillars down AGAIN and clear the other room. Wow using your brain = not needing range. Crazy right?

isn't range required for the chain explosions? even if the pillars can still cause the reaction, it still needs to actually reach the enemy to even cause the effect in the first place.
