Oh wow. I usually do an entire lap across the map ever since I learned where eximus usually spawned thinking they respawn on a long timer. I guess I was severely mistaken. Edit: Also you can turn on enemy outlines if you need a better indicator on where they are.

Glad there's finally a good video on this. I've explained this strat so many times in chat that I have a google doc with the entire explanation that I've just been copy-pasting. Don't have to do that anymore, I can just send them your video. Much easier to convince people to stop wasting their time on Hydron now. One thing to add: You can ramp up the affinity bonus to 500% faster by killing the normal enemies around the first eximus. Since you're only using them to ramp up the bonus, you don't have to jump out of your archwing so it only takes a few seconds. You'll get more out of the exumis units this way, so it speeds up the run.

fun fact: you can do this with hitscan weapons if you get the kill while falling after exiting archwing. the aero vantage mod will grant you zero gravity while aim gliding to make this easier, and it can be paired with the aerodynamic aura to extend the window.

Enemy highlights as others have noted help alot. Night time replaces "getting spotted" with "enemies are in combat with vomvalysts". Slightly easier for someone new to the tech. A few things to note from my own testing: -you need a projectile weapon(so you have time to dismount) that can 1 tap or 2 tap an eximus up-to level 30 (i don't have nataruk so i used Dread with a cc cd corrosive setup); -Nataruk is best since there is no loss in direction of the projectile(on my Dread i have to aim the arrow drop based on my angle of shooting unless im dead center on top of them) and as seen works just fine even with 2 mods; -smeeta affinity buff (x3) can be procced on entry into the plains, very rng, you don't lose it in archwing on/off; If you don't mind waiting a bit at the start for the cat to do something its worth it.

A full sum-up (although the vid is helpful enough!): 1. This strat is best done in night time with enemy highlight on (preferably bright red). Daytime dargyns can mess with stealth. 2. Better wait 5 seconds after new enemies spawn, otherwise killing them may lose your stealth bonus. 3. Use aim glide mods for comfort, exilus Boreal's Anguish mod for -75% gravity and Aero Vantage mod for -100% gravity while aim glide, along with Patagium and Aerodynamic aura for aim glide duration. 4. You can lvl up some weapons by this trick too, if they have good accuracy and decent damage. I use Zephyr for that case. 5. Exalted weapons are counted as abilities, so you can use Nataruk to level up those as well! Along with pets and archwing!! Edit: 6. Add archwing launcher to keybind settings for quick swap!

Remember that if you join the Plains with a level 0 frame, you just need to hit level 20 (in mission) so when you extract it is already at level 30. Adaro might still be a bit faster but somewhat less accessible with subsumes, Bramma, and all that so it's nice to have something efficient for people without those. It's been known for years; anyway - here's the tip: go to accessibility settings > enemy highlights on > change the color to something bright (like red) > enemy highlight intensity to 100. That way you see all the enemies on the ground. After that you just learn the Eximus spawns. GL

i keep losing the stealth bonus whenever i kill the enemy on the third spot, even though he isnt alerted (checking enemy triangle on enemy radar/map -> it isnt filled in its hollow) will continue to test edit: after testing, heres my feeling when you're far enough away from the enemies, they seem to just stop pathfinding. If you get farther away, they despawn entirely. Get closer, and they start moving to get the stealth bonus when the enemies are not moving/pathfinding, you have to wait 3-5s before firing the shot. getting closer such that they start moving seems to eliminate this 3-5s timer, but then you're close enough for them to see you. if they see you and shoot you, you immediately lose the stealth multiplier if an enemy dropship, any anti-air turret, or enemy on the ground spots you and shoots you / you kill them, you lose the stealth multiplier You have to be high up, not too far away, and not too close, and wait just the right amount of time for each shot edit: its much more consistent when you're ~ 200m off the ground

Any melee will do! He is pressing melee so he comes out of the archwing so the exp goes to the Warframe instead of the archwing. Simply shooting the eximus with Nataruk, then looking up slightly and pressing melee will sent the exp to your Warframe! Or if you want the exp for your archwing, you do not have to press melee after firing.

Personally, I found it way better to do with a Sniper + Hush. Copying an Eidolon build Rubico Prime and swapping Ambush Optics for Hush was much easier than using Nataruk for me. I understand the suggestion is just because everyone has Nataruk, though.

I was just trying this a week ago and kept losing the stealth affinity bonus despite not being seen by enemies. It seemed like if there were any other enemies nearby when the eximus died it would always break my combo, even if they seemed out of line of sight, or too far to see the kill? Also, is there some draw distance setting you need to adjust? For me, the enemies don't even spawn unless I get close enough that they start moving and patrolling as soon as they do?

Were you using a silenced weapon? I.e. Nataruuk, Dread etc Regarding enemy loading, it’s a bit hit and miss if the AI moves or not, but there is a render distance setting in graphics if I’m not mistaken.

It’s a little hit-and-miss, I tend to fly fairly high (above ship spawn height), but dargyn’s are just a pain, one day they leave you alone the next they track you down like John Wick :(

Necramechs can be easily leveled in Railjack Void Storm survival missions, alternatively just using it a lot in Deimos while grinding other stuff worked for me (iso vaults, bounties etc)

Dunno about this one because there may be a max range to exodia contagion, but it works with a lot of weapons, personally I'm using snipetron vandal (I exit, I shoot, I re enter archwing)

Haven’t tried, I’d recommend using Nata if you have it :) Person above suggested snipetron vandal, that’ll work well too just make sure you’ve got enough time to get out of archwing before the projectile hits the enemy! (That’s why I like bows for this :p)
