Warframe grind can be a pain in the ass sometimes, but BOY does it payoff. The quests that you have access after the grinds, the storyline. Its simply amazing, you truly feel that your hard work is being paid off.

I've been playing for years and kept playing because of the builds I can do late game and the lore within the quests. Despite it being a live service type game if I don't play for a bit I'm not really gonna miss much other than maybe a seasonal event or nightwave stuff; It allows you to play at your own pace.

Few things I wanna share(which even i didnt know at start): 1) never transmute mods its never gonna be worth it. 2) tapping sprint will make you blink in archwing mode 3) Wiki Is best friend 4) To get frame parts you need to defeat that specific boss again and again 5)Buy all offerings of a syndicate before you change it 6)try to complete missions asap in early games instead of looting every single room as you dont require much at the start 7)More people in lobby increases chance of rare relic(maximum chances chances being 4 players with all radiant relics) 8)Try to complete standing of cetus, fortuna, deimos daily in early as you can grind only a bit everyday which will save you time in long run and it wont feel laborious 9)Use your nightwave credits for orokin reactors and catalyst 10)Try to complete your nightwave levels till atleast weapon slots and warframe slots as you will need them from mid to late game and they cost platinum I hope this helps for early game, tenno

"1) never transmute mods its never gonna be worth it." This is honestly a pretty bad advice, and the reason I say it is bad because you used the word "never". It is true that transmuting is definitely too costly for a new player and therefore in that stage of the game definitely not worth it. But... yes here's the but; when you've played the game long enough to have millions of credits and stockpiles of rare mods the resource cost of transmuting is like a drop in a bucket, and you sometimes get quite rare mods that are worth a good amount of plat.

The grind is pretty crazy, largely in part to there being over a decade worth of new content to grind for. My best advice is to figure out what you want and grind for that specifically, there's so many different places to grind that it's best to focus your effort in a single place at once. Don't forget to trade your surplus valuable mods and extra prime sets as well, you can use the platinum to buy something you need from someone else without dedicating the time to the grind.

The grind IS the game. I am an older gamer and used to play Runescape back in the day. Grinded out my Comp Cape and was looking for something new and grindy to play. Was recommended Warframe. Warframe is such a broad game and also a deep game with a healthy amount of grind. It's hard at the start but you can always find help from the player base if you ask nicely. After 11 years I am still in love with the gameplay loops and the grind but in a position where I can do anything and everything in game and help newer players set and hit their goals. DE have built a community around a game, rather than a game with a community if you can grok the difference

Mastery Rank mainly increases the base mod capacity of your gear. For example, if you’re MR12 and you build a brand-new unranked frame, they’ll have 12 mod capacity right off the bat. Twice as much if you install an Orokin Reactor into them. It also increases certain resource caps (void traces, daily standing, etc.) The early grind feels really steep, when you see a new frame that costs 1000 nano spores to craft, and you have 0. As you continue to play, you’ll be stockpiling resources without even noticing, then you’ll look in your foundry one day and realize you have _millions of nano spores_ and can craft every single blueprint that requires them without making a dent in your stockpile. It’s like turning a snowball into a boulder and rolling downhill.

Okay so imma drop a little tips here. Modding is the system thats actually the "endgame" that glorified excel sheet its the core of warframe and weapons. Rhino should be the first warframe you farm because he is a Swiss knife, damage, defense, control and cheap to build. Every normal warframe its almost the same than a prime except for the skin and some stats that do not matter in the long run. Relics just crack them and eventually you will have sets of weapons and wsrfrsme priem everywhere. Forma is what allow to make powerful builds halving the drain in the mod menu a mod takes, every one is precious as you can only get one every 23 hour with their blueprint hidden in the relic system, it can be found very rarely in some resource caches or be bought for platinum, later on you use forma like you drink water on a desert, i had been times i had used 15 i one day and after you aply a forma you mist rank the weapon or warframe to lvl 30 again. As you said to progress on warframe you have to set goals, every nee player goal checklist would be smt like >Get rhino >Explore system >Dabble a bit into modding >Reach Uranus >See a video of lore to understand wtf is goin' on >Create a Lich of kuva >Complete the start chart >Start steel path >Play the necessary of railjack or more >Start working on standing with different syndicates And from them on you can do wherever you want, but remenber this is just a suggestion in the end just have fun after all this a game and that should be your ultimate goal, if you feel burned out take a break, the game will always stay the same or be better when you came back.

I find it’s better to just focus on one goal at a time and try to enjoy the journey. If it’s not your main game, Warframe is a great back burner game that you cycle back too.

You got the best kubrow on the first try. The other 4 aren't bad, but Huras has the highest damage plus periodic invisibility, which is especially good for Excal since his first ability won't break the cloak.

Funny part is, some Primes are A LOT easier to get than their regular counterparts And you HAVE to grind out regular frames. You can just easily plat prime parts (given you have the plat to buy it)

@ you can always sell prime parts for platinum, to buy prime parts for platinum! Always check Warframe Market to nice to correct price though, and most of the time, it’s cheaper to buy warframe components individually than the entire set :D (Doing this may ruin the authentic grind experience though)

As a person who has played warframe, destiny and the first descendant (and many other live service games) Warframe has the most fun grind in live service gaming.. But there are just a ton of things to farm that makes it look like it's brutal

I agree, it's really daunting to get started at first, but now I would much rather play wf than destiny, for example. I really understand the game now and I never need to check build guides or strategies to farm something. I also tried the first descendant, but it felt entirely soulless and gunplay lacked any impact or feeling...

It depends on who plays it. Some people will hate that there's essentially no "finish line", like many long running live service games.

Starting grinding side content like Open world/Warframes etc is the best way to get burned out and quitting before even finishing the Tutorial and reaching the start of the story in Uranus. Better to focus on star chart and quest progress until you at least get to the Second dream.

there isn't a huge difference between Primes and normal stuff. So I wouldn't worry about it to much. Also keep all your normal frames. you're gonna need them later and you won't want to have to refarm them. Eventually you'll sacrifice them to a mechanic. Mastery rate increases your daily standing in every faction. So the farther you go up the more you points you can get in a faction. And than you use those points you gain to either level up your position in that faction or you use it to buy things from their market.

For some reason I have more prime blueprints then regular frame blueprints. Although I did play a tone of Void Fissures. Also I don't get the pros and cons of each faction so I slapped a random one on for now.

there is an online market system ouotside of warframe that might make it a little easy if you're interested in buying parts. you can compare prices of things. otherwise, take our time. you'll get what you're looking for eventually and learn how to play each frame, weapon, and tileset effeciently. it's a lot but i've learned a lot from the grind.

O and first what I do is farm for Ocucor and Octavia prime and that's it time for fast farming.

@JayTCU depends on the bp. You'll need a duplicate of each warframe for spoiler reasons further on in the game. But never sell weapons or frames. You can generally sell dupe mods. But some of the rarer ones are worth a little plat and you could sell them on the market.

alright time to get to yappin (First - Grinding for Warframes) As you said pretty much boils down to repeating boss missions till you get the 3 component parts, main blueprint is usually from the shop. there are also some warframes that can be obtained from the open worlds, a few from specific missions, and a good chunk from quests. (Second - Relics) this is where all prime items come from weapons, warframes, etc. you should always run them with other players because you get to pick from each others rewards. The reason thats good is because you can sell those parts for a bit of plat or keep them for the bi-weekly npc trader that comes through who sells cosmetics and primed/rare mods. so the point is even if you dont get what you want you still got something useful which is a trend with this game youre always progressing towards something no matter what you do. you can also ask other players to run the same relic with you for whatever specific item making it more likely to show up still rng but at least theres 4 chances instead of 1. there are so many prime warframes and weapons that they arent all in the game at once so youll have to get platinum for the vaulted ones or wait for their relics to be available in the temporary shop (varzia on mars at maroos bazar) try not to get sucked into relics and primes and only do those its not that deep, especially not so soon i would unlock the helminth segement from deimos and read up on that first (Third- mastery rank and progression) Mastery is your overall account level gained from leveling what you have available to its max, higher mastery = better things. Keep making new things even if you dont like them just max it out and sell it its ok to sell things you dont like you can get it again later. however there is one conflicting thing abt that if you do a quest and you gain a weapon/warframe blueprint crafted whatever do not sell it or get rid of the item usually those are and absolute pain to get another of and are actually good if it has a prime keep it till you get the prime if not it stays forever(i mean if you care its not actually that deep, if you can sell it you can get it again even if its a pain with warframes most quest-locked ones have a prime out there)
