They did with höllvania backroom what they should have done with the zarumen "apartment". Set it as a base with all the functions as the normal base

Also it has way more capacity space then the entirely of the orbiter. Orbiter desperately need more space imo

And you can decorate that base too with your stuff, decorators are going to be wild by knowing this

Also, it's already decorated nicely. The Zariman quarters are mostly empty, and I really can't be asked to decorate all the living spaces like I did with my orbiter. Once was enough. (I might put down the occasional plush or roomba, but that's about it)

@@se7enhaender I think the biggest problem with asking to decorate the Zariman is also that the Zariman decorations cost too much standing when you're better off spending that standing on weapons, Arcanes, etc

Pretty sure the "wrench" buffs (overrides) say they last until the end of the calendar year, so that would be a whole month, not just a week.

Any gifts your not getting to manually choose are auto claiming the left side. I didn't get to choose my archon shard and was forced into the stupid affinity booster. Bunch of forum posts about it with no response from De yet.

Calendars has rewards, KIM Messenger has lore and never ever skipped someone's birthday....except if you really hate Quincy. Also after the kiss night, you will lose the Overrides bonuses since it's a "Yearly" reset.

If you go into the computer, and click on backrooms from there, you can set it as your new base of operations

Go tot he terminal on the ship, then select backrooms and it should set it as your base

I love the backroom, but I absolutely hate that completing a mission forces me to load back into Höllvania Central, it takes a solid 20-30 seconds to get back to my hub and that's annoying as fuck

-It's kind of important to mention the overrides only work in 1999. -The gifts are a waste of credits. it takes 4 days of daily chats + daily bounties to get everyone to liked level which is what you need for the syndicate and quest, and at M34 it takes 6 days of maxing out daily standing cap to get there so you even have quite a bit of room to mess up. If you're impatient to get a relationship you can use them for that one person I guess. -Always get the combined (violet/emerald/topaz) shards and tauforgeds, but regular basic shards are probably a skip most of the time. After a few weeks of netra/EDA you're gated by Stela, not your basic shard counts.

My biggest confusion with this system is how does the game measure days, because sometimes i complete one mission and its atill the same day, then you complete the next mission and suddenly its 2 weeks later on the calendar. (Edit) Thanks everyone for the replies. The progression makes sense now, I was afraid I would have to micromanage timing to make sure I didn't skip a birthday or archon shards.

I believe it's on a set rotation. Not sure how fine, every day itself or jumps a couple of days, but each real week is represesented as three months in game.

Days automatically progress when you do tasks in it. It's better to think of the calendar as a to-do list because it has nothing to do with actually waiting.

Small think about the Override buffs: they are for your account, but only in Höllvania. If you go to the Origin System to do missions there (e.g. SP dailies), you will NOT have the buffs.

Hex buffs are monthly , not weekly. Says so in patch notes that buffs apply for season ie 1 month irl.

100% skipped first reset, because the update dropped on a friday, they left it a bit longer so the first rotation wouldn't just be 3 days

challenges will unlock all the the following wrench/reward etc until the next challenge

The calender skips ahead to the next 'milestone', so a challenge, an overdrive, Lettie's Birthday, a reward... Once you complete the challenge or select the overdrive/reward, it'll skip to the next one.

Once you do one thing, it just moves on (advances time) to the next date. For example: _claim reward -> claim reward -> kill 1000 techrot_ (now you have to actual go out and do it) _-> send birthday message..._ and so on.

You can max their affection by Chatting, gifting and doing bounty. You do not need to max the The Hex faction to do the ending quest.

Yes but I have a feeling that reaching rank 5 also unlocks it, thanks to the group chat which triggers each rank up. DE said multiple times the romance was optional so this makes sense to me. Romance them all and you can get it early or ignore and simply reach rank 5 to get it as well
