My guess? Arthur is THE ORIGINAL HUMAN who got turned into Excalibur. Oh and Aoi? Literally translates to "Blue", the signature color of Mag. So she was probably the original Mag.

yes that quote was from the sacrifice quest (in case others haven't seen it yet) I love the lore we got from that quest. That is one of the really likely theories so I do agree with you on that

That's also my theory!!! Also, in the Mag Prime codex entry the narrator says that the "thing" (Mag) was shimmering with the blue of her void shields. Two hints make a proof, we say... 😂

My theory is that when Albrecht discovered the Void and Wally, Wally went into the past as Albrecht to make sure everything happens so that The Tenno and the Warframes eventually fuse and allow for him to obtain something, there's still so much we do not know.

Yeah because based on the lore found in the necralisk our albrecht supposedly made himself past tense if you know what I mean. he refused to take the kuva and move into a new body. So it would stand to reason hes dead and JoJo Albrecht is wally. he made the "vessels" and we are the key due to the "void" powers he gave us. why he wants us to control these massive body's IDK, maybe to find something like you said. Like he said... "we owe him" and hes come to collect, but only time will tell. I have so much digging to do lol

Since Albrecht would be the only one with the knowledge and tech no how to really stop him.

The whole Warframe universe revolves around the concept of Eternalism. This gives the DE a broad timeframe/eras to play with. Warframe 1999 is within the bounds of that concept.

​@@JSPYROThere's already been a TON of lore on Albrechts experiments hidden throughout Deimos. Collecting the 8 original runes in the Necramech room gave MASSIVE MASSIVE lore drops. The biggest one was actually referenced in the Demo - the void itself as a giant enormous sentient being, malignant and yet SO all powerful it is utterly unmoved by something as insignificant as us. A true Cthulhu. A horror and monster so grand the best we can do is hope it never notices us. Albrecht called it "A great indifference".

@@Jukantos I loved watching all of those lore runes and, if I'm not misinterpreting loids quote from the whisper in the walls gameplay trailer, he called the language the wall speaks the Void Tongue.. its possible that albrecht might have learned this language which might mean the albrecht we see at the end of the 1999 trailer is the real albrecht and not the wall like I suspected and uses it against the wall like fire vs fire but of course this is just a theory.

Doppleganger Albrecht went back in time to 1999, and seemingly both introduced a version of the infestation, and warframes, to the year 1999 to induce a Y2K style techno-organic Dark Sector apocolypse. Whatever agency this Arthur and AOI belong to has used Warframes like Hayden Tenno suits, and because they're humans with no transference, they have to wear the Warframes which, because they are infested death machines not designed to be manually piloted, is slowly killing the users like Hayden's suit was slowly killing him.

I've watched this so many times and it only dawned to me that it being 1999 is a double reference, y2k and Jojo part 4. Albrecht/Wally is wearing a Jotaro drip and part 4 did take place in 1999 aka 1999 Bizarre Summer when you listed to Great Days which is the opening for Jojo Part 4. So expect this part of the game starts in the Summer of 1999 and it culminates at December 31, 1999.
