I copied the build exactly and was like "yo, why are my shields so low and my gate is 0.33?" and hopped in to SP to test it and thought the damage was a bit lower than expected and survivability was shit. It took me 6 minutes to realize I had all the dragon keys on. 10/10 build, would definitely recommend! Loved the video :)

Hell yeah dude. I have a been using a very similar volt build for about a year now, but i use the melee hirudo instead, with very high range, attack speed, and shattering impact. You can punch like 10 times a second with the speed boost. It fully heals you with every punch if you hit hard enough which is easy to do, and armor strips in seconds. This build melts archons. This build you posted is amazing and one of my favorites.

5:50 While It is true that melee attacks dont benefit from the shield, projectiles fired by melee weapons DO get the bonuses from electric shield, including the bonus electricity damage. Meaning You could proc melee influence on a weapon without modding for electricity easily just by using the shield. Hate and Innodem work really well for this. This makes Shock trooper redundant, and you can instead subsume over his first ability. You can then use his 4 for CC / shield regen with capacitance

Whenever i come back to WF i always check kayii's videos for something new to play. I main nehza because of him. Non steel path up to lvl 5-6k is slaughtered by dark retribution build, in steel path as long as your not pushing into the 2k plus it still slaughters. I use it for all my farming.

Been using similar volt build for months and I can attest that this is freakin insane. Especially if you put 5 tauforged purple shards I suggest you tried it on syam heavy attack spam. Just did a few runs in Zariman and it's awesome! I had energy management issues but that was my first time using Volt so that's that, wasn't sure which skills to prioritize and i had no idea when 1 was active. Also i don't have helminth, so i had no red crits

Actually Projectiles do gain the buff from electric shield as long as the MAIN projectile passes through the shield, AoE attacks where the main projectiles aren’t present then the AoE doesn’t get the bonus Exodia Contagion works because when you double jump or bullet jump the zaw becomes a projectile based melee attack, the projectile can do AoE but the main projectile is present with the AoE I hit a -2.147B electric proc yesterday and that confirmed to me that it works

I've tried going Viral on my Okina's since it has decent amount of slash and I gotta say it's destroying Steel Path on my Xata's Whisper Volt, Melee influence just spreads all of that through the whole rooms of enemies and they die so fast.

If those daggers have a main projectile attached to the AoE cold then you might actually be getting the 50% electric and 100% crit multi (it’s in the wiki for electric shield)

@@kyaii The wiki isnt always right, the spanish speaking community tests a lot of their set ups and do the math at the instance. Similarly to CO, things like Arachne and Vigorous swap will provide a damage increase.

I've been running a similar build but on nova! I have a riven with a lot of electric, so the electric procs spreas the blast and heat from neutron stats as well as having that nice damage vulnerability from m prime.

I'm gonna favorite this, because I have neither the Okina prime, nor its incarnon atm, but at least then I'll maybe find this video again. Definetly subscribing too! I especially like making those defensive shield mods work. Normally I wouldn't even look twice at those mods, and of course, I hadn't maxed them xD Still though, this unfortunately did not fit with my all-rounder build, so I now put in a rank 3 Vigilante Vigor instead of 5 and a Narrow Minded rank 9 instead of 10. I COULD do another forma for the augment mod... But then literally every single slot would be augmented, and I don't know about flexibility then. Recharge of 98.3/s and 0.4s delay

you could also replace kulervo abilty for rhinos I tried it and it works like a charm and rhino is far easier to farm than kullervo
