I dunno about that, I've had quite some success with destroyers since then. Not too sure what I think yet, it's definitely harder to get my kills in but then maybe that was the point. Decent players in DDs were pretty likely to come out with a ton of kills and I didn't really have to work for them before. Other than it being a bit harder to get kills I haven't really noticed much difference. I'd definitely not call them bad.

World of Warfare! Something like a mode where you invade an island with a goal to accomplish, like a point capture. Tanks on a center island, and fight there. Planes in the air above the island, and capture points in the air, or whatever the equivalent in WoWP is. Ships in the sea, fighting for points to capture, and can shell the island.

Planeboy 2520 um yeah it does use hit points, just not the same as wot and wows. See the way it works is each individual module has a certain amount of hit points, when that certain module is hit it looses some hit points. If that module looses only a little hit points than it shows up as “light damage” this shows up as yellow. If it losses a lot of hit points than it says “heavy damage” this shows up as red in war thunder. If it looses all of its hit points than it’s destroyed and shows up as black. And war thunder just reduces the effectiveness of each module depending on how damaged it is. Also each module has different amount of hit points depending on how durable it is. ie engine has more hit points than a aileron. Also ammunition has no hit points in war thunder. So yes war thunder uses hit points just in a more realistic way.

I have one qualm with this trailer: sparks as the Zeroes slid off the Akagi's flight deck. Akagi had a wooden flight deck, therefore, no sparks. Otherwise, great trailer!

Mickie del rey the akagi is such a famous carrier which surprised me that it wasn't int he game as soon as japanese carriers came out. i think that they may not add it at all since it was laid down as a battlecruiser

Ahhh, the good old days of beta. There were flaws, there were some bugs. But at least there was a 3 tier spread, meaning there was a lot of variety on each team. The time I saw a Kawachii sinking an Aoba, a New Mexico, and a Langly in the same game. The time I saw a Nagato face off against a Yamato and lose. The Time I saw a puny Wickles get 3 torpedo hits in a tier VI game and a flooding and kept his team alive by spotting enemies for the big guns when it finally occurred to him he couldn't take on anything that had at least 10% HP.

Team A has a Fuso sailing alone. Fuso apparently damages a ship with her secondary armament, then is sunk by a destroyer from Team B. Cruisers from team A arrives, with a Mogami at its front. Mogami dodges the torpedoes from a team B destroyer, then sink it. Many of team B ships are sunk in quick succession. An aircraft carrier from team A attacks the whole Team B. A destroyer is sunk by dive bombers, but the rest of aircrafts are repelled by anti-air from cruisers. The carrier is sunk. BB going alone, a few premade cruisers, carrier reacting way too late. Finally the video represents the game well.

@@saelk.6628 yup my bad the cruiser is a baltimore as the hull number shows it and the gun, but the dev messed the paint scheme a bit as those paint scheme was recieved by cleveland classes. Another incorrect i had was USS Somers as it is actually USS Porter which you can see from the torpedo launcher being together and not split apart fron the funnel being in the middle. The japanese battleship is actually IJN Nagato 1944 modification as it shows 2nd 41.0cm 45 cal 3rd year gun having sand bags and gun mount for type 96, another is that nagato class was the only japanese battleship to have 2nd floor casemate which you can see and it did have a distinct pagoda compared to fuso as its pagoda mass was very straight and lean similar to hiei and yamato class, its bow is very narrow like and more elongated from the top compared to fuso bow, but thats all i have to say Edit: forgot to mention but fuso had 2 turret of vicker 36.0cm 45 cal 41st year gun on the middle of the ship with 2 of the being apart from fuso funnel and 3rd turret facing forward. With yamashiro (fuso sister) 3rd turret facing backward after problem came from fuso

I rly dont get it. in the first part the destroyer(Stone) beats the BS (Scissors) then the cruiser (Scissors) beats Destroyer (paper) and in the last sequenze its not rly clear who is who cause the carrier kills a destroyer. And that is not his job ingame, and everyone kills the carrier (that is okay) How can a ship be 2 things ;) ?

So CreweL Because as much as I love BB, even I have to admit that they have become the easiest to kill class. Destroyers... destroy them, cruisers set them on fire with HE the new HE spam meta at a range where the BB is inaccurate and Carriers just run away and torpedo them as they retreat.

Wish the game looked just as good as the trailer for it. Otherwise, torps are OP with destroyers and cruisers being able to reload them fairly quickly (historically once the torpedoes were fired the ship had to be in port to reload the torpedo tubes), torpedo bombers unrealistically drop torps like a dive bomber, RNG is horrendous, ships barely improve going through the tiers and in some cases go are worse so no incentive to progress after mid tiers, and the 2 dimensional game play get's boring after 300-500 matches. Overall the game starts fun, but just like the other WG titles ultimately the team with the fewest window lickers usually wins. Considering the team work this game relies upon even more so that WoT, that gets old fast.

Magni56 The thing that annoys me when I'm playing battle ships is that (I'm playing Jap battleships) the "full potential" of the ships is when you can fire at ships from extreme ranges, but then you don't hit shit because the rng on ranges 15km++ is horrible! and thus I've found that the American battleships are good because they actually hit what they're shooting at and they have more fire power than the Japanese because they have shorter range. I guess what I meant was, what exactly does the Japanese battleships beat? because their strength is in the range of the guns but the guns don't hit anything at that range anyway.. maybe the only thing they beat are American battleships :P

AndyAttrition Cruisers have always been the best class in WoWs. Fast like DDs but also with armour, plus massive DPM. I've never seen a reason to take a battleship. Kinda like how medium tanks rule WoT.

It is just a fact that the roc/paper/scissor system is not working/existing. when BBs are ment to beat CA on average than they need to have the stats and the gameplay mechanics to do that. Cruisers are the most versatile class of ships, that is sure. but it can not bee that WG keeps telling the players there is a game purpose for ervery ship class when BBs are just there to be fucked by everyone else.
