The Swedish heavy tank definitely got further than a wooden mock-up, a chassi was made and tested, and when the heavy tank project was panned, the chassi was used as a testing platform for STRV 103. I had some fortune to get into the storages of the Swedish tank museum, and took a few pictures of it and a few other vehicles.

I think the swedish tree has been divided into two branches, light- and medium tanks in one and TDs in the other. The S-tank being a top tier TD.

14 round auto loading arty, most likely a tier 10. The only possible way to balance ,is the accuracy and aim time/between shots and it only gets the one clip. But the initial load is 2mins or something! Scary tank either way if it does show up!

Well the leopard tank use today is vastly improved with munch better armor and improved gun and targeting system witch makes it one of the best tanks in the world. And if you fiddle a little with the engine you can get up to 80km/H on roads.

Great video, I've been to the muséum in Hässleholm a few times. Great place.:D Sweden makes good stuff. I am from Sweden so I may be biased, but just remeber, every time you use an adjustable wrench you have Sweden to thank for it.;) As well as Dynamite, the Nobel prize and cheap IKEA crap that's usually missing a few pieces but still works pretty damn well once it's in place.;)

I hope everyone understands that Sweden, being a neutral country not belonging to any form of military alliance (NATO neither Warsaw), has always had to rely on its own production of military hardware, because we cannot rely on importing stuff if we end up going to war with the one we buy the stuff from. And the tanks are just one chapter of many homemade productions. From a country of less then 10 million people, weve made our own tanks, artillery, vehicles, warplanes, submarines, warships, rockets, guns and uniform. It has cost us alot of money, but its the price you pay to stay (relatively) independent in a cold war world.

So... let me put it this way... Swedish allowed Germans to help them produce tanks and because of that Germans bypassed restrictions of not to build them... So when in 1939 they were well prepared and they attacked Poland, cousing Warld War II... Good job Sweden... :(
