I agree with you! Even though I'm not a new player and basically I remember every weakspot of every tank(obviously they are kinda easy but also you need to remember special ones like when shooting at VK 45.02 B you should go for the turret unless you are close enough to hit the machine gun port) this video was still helpful to me. I did not know about normalisation angels, well I knew they existed but I did not know the amount of how much they change the pentration and to which direction. And also I have for a long time wondered how much does penetration go down when hitting a fence or a car.

this was a nice one.. even if i have 12k battles :D the single thing that was LUL FOR me was shoting gold in a light..i never tought of such a posibility to shoot gold on a light tank.. cuz apcr is faster and loses penetration.. cuz lights dont have any armor! :) nice to know that

Basically yes. The ones that are hard to me are the upper plates of swedish Emil I, Emil II, and the Kranvagn but if I'm right Emil I is pennable but Emil II is only when looking above and same goes with Kranvagn. Of course I don't remember the small tier tanks cause I don't play them that much and there are only few tanks in tier 2-4 which have armor so I don't think I need to know about them. I don't know does it have any effect that I'm still quite young (under 16 over 10) that it was easier for me to remember them but the funny thing is that I actually was taking a break from WoT and I hadn't played in 3months then I saw a video and kept whatching them to this day and definitely I'm going to keep whatching them. Tracks getting blown off isn't about pen, it's the damage value. Also, if you want to pen, you have to hit the hull behind the tracks to do damage.It's a game too, so don't take it too seriously.

I don't know how many games you have played and what you have encountered, but if you want proof, let me send you a great deal of replays where the above mentioned game mechanics fail to work. What I meant is that light tank tracks acting as spaced armour "absorb" shells with high penetration values even when the trajectory of the shell is going through the hull of the vehicle.

1/ you can hit armor at extreme angle and armor is thick enough (e.g. 50mm) that you won't overmatch it with 122mm caliber and shell will ricochet - this is why LTTB or BatChat tends to survive some hits 2/ you can hit the gun with some chance of damaging or destroying it 3/ you can hit tracks below the tank's "belly" dealing just module damage (his tracks will turn orange, sometimes on both sides) 4/ you can hit viewfinder 5/ if shell hits tracks, it continues just one meter further. If angle is extreme, it won't hit hull behind the tracks

This is exactly why War Thunder is superior. No bullshit damage values, just realistic damage based on where you penetrate the tank.
