So I had this theory.... when I got to chapter 3, I saw Vandham stayed at the same level he was when I finished it in my first playthrough. So I had the idea to get him to lvl 99 by farming the Ancient Sauros in Gormott. No way they can kill a level 99 at lvl 30ish, right? Nope.... I tried so hard to make him live. Q~Q

his weapon is a *scythe* but i would imagine it would be slower than an either cannon because you would have to draw back the arrow and then release to shoot, whereas the ether cannon probably has like a trigger or something.

Thanks, I was actually really shocked to find out there was a lot of confusion around how to get the 6 new blades, obviously excluding mik, but yeah no one directly said how you can get them, so its great to know I can get them early on with all my Pre-NG+ legendary Core Crystals. I was starting to think I'd have to get them latter on, and resonate with their crystals like Roc, or do a side mission, but this method is chill, I can Cloud Save Refresh to cheat the unfair RNG.

Actually another blade you don't get is the Unnamed core crystal that Gramps gives Rex in Torigoth, the blade it awakens is the same as it awoke on the first playthrough

Why have a scene of Shulk unlocking the power of the Monado in the first Xenoblade when he already has the True Monado on New Game+? Players have already experienced the story before they can try NG+, there's no point in making them having to work through it again.

I mean, you still have Ascended Pyra. I don't have any problems with Nia not being able to use her blade form, or Rex losing his Master Driver skill. Plus there is more then just those 2 things you know. Like all the blades you have, all the blades you can get. And so on.

Holy fuck this is insane. The main game already had a shit load of stuff to do, NG+ adds more. Then with the expansion pass, adds even MORE! And this is just the main game!! There's a prequel story game with even MORE content with its own new battle system and other mechanics. This just might be the best game on Switch.

I have alredy defeated all the superbosses on a NG+ save, but I didn't have the DLC, so I got the DLC, levelled down and released all blades, then started a Bringer of Chaos run in NG+. It is just like I am playing the game for the first time again! Enemies are hard, my party becomes randomly filled with suboptimal blade loadouts, and I just make the best out of it. I find it weird that they completely destroyed chain attacks in BoC, but I appreciate how it changes the gameplay so I have to be more proactive during fights. I think they should have allowed you to create a NG+ save file even if you don't have a completed save file, that way more people could enjoy the NG+ specific content.

Retroagv on the plus side tho, Ursula's quest is by far the most useful for filling out Affinity Chart Nodes, so it's not a complete bummer, I purposely didn't compleye Ursula's quest the first time around in order to use it for filling out the Torna Blades Affinity charts easily.

Alan The Torna Blades are strictly NG+, so you need to beat the game and start NG+ for the Torna Blades.
