Still planning to go Ogryn, still not sure how I will make him the best tank. But the beta showed me you are really a big target, for melee and especially ranged attacks against you, maybe full release does have subclasses and one more focused on tanking/support. I mean a shield would make a big difference; I also hope we get a in game explanation on all the weapon stats.

theory... ogryn with bone head implants are quite valuable.. to begin with they are already fairly "smart" and with a very costly implant they are made even smarter.... ogryns lack the drive for selfish or insubordination.. and cowardness would be punished with a shot to the back of the head.. ergo.. i propose that the ogryn was crushed under military burocrasy and blamed for something they didnt do.. who else would you blame it on?

You actually get to pick why your character was incarcerated when you create them- and that's unironically close to one of the options. However, I feel like you might be giving the Imperium a bit too much credit here- the higher ups who call the shots definitely don't have such a sensible, utilitarian, perspective on their soldiers. Other reasons for turning loyal soldiers into penal legion rejects, sentenced to die fighting chaos wearing tattered rags with whatever they can personally scavenge from the battlefield, also included "complaining about strange tasting corpse starch rations", and, "Not getting out of a magistrates way fast enough".

@@YOGI-kb9tg would be cool to see more abhumans, sure. But, there's a beastman character in necromunda. An Imperial one, the Blackstone fortress ones are chaos beastmen. IMO, Necromunda is the superior 40k POV. It really klings to the core messages and themes of the setting.

@@rakelodakel i dont consider necromunda or blackstone fortress as proper necromunda is cool but its also lazy on the model side so i discount that, they are awesome looking but i dont consider a single cameo character to be GW acknowledging them. same for blackstone fortress which has a man of iron which is really important but his lore is bare bones. with ogryns you hear about them so much you they have become second nature to the guard while over abhuman races like the ratlings and beastmen people remember they exsist when they see them but no real second thoughts hell even the squats (not the votann) were in this everyone called for them more for a memes sake with being squatted not because they were popular the new votann got peoples attention with the new lore and looks of the space dwarfs but they are in the ways of player interest different

@@CMTechnica They actually are. If I turn the camera around at 30FPS and it produces me discomfort, it's a clear sign that it's bad. And that's beside my point. I was clearly talking about horrendous optimization. Having a beefy PC yet the game gives you 30ish FPS on max but also 30ish FPS on low, and you defend that, it's clear that you're just a nobody that likes to get involved in discussions just for the sake of doing it. Now shu.
