Thanks, this is still the closest to the dream game about W40K. Shame I am too crap to manage it well but at least I can fully appreciate how great units management can be thanks to you great replays and comments. A version for me would just be "choose starting units and areas they manage" then maybe every 5 mn a froze time to create new units and send them in areas but otherwise just watch and enjoy. Bit similarely to this with only ponctual inputs would be perfect for lazy slow player like me ^^

Got to say Willy really played well in this game. LR Crusader is some seriously underappreciated unit imo, it can absolutely turn the tide when using right.

All replays casted in this channel are from DoW2 Retribution + Elite Mod. Retribution is the second and the last expansion of DOW2. Retribution is a standalone expansion that does not require other games for it to work. Players created Elite Mod as patch support for Retribution stopped in 2012. For this reason, Elite Mod is also needed for playing multiplayer as unmodded Retribution is largely abandoned aside from single play purposes. Same can be said about Original DOW2 and Chaos Rising the first expansion. They are bought to enjoy single player content only. You are only required to buy DoW2 Retribution for multiplayer. Other games/DLCs are not needed. In addition, Elite Mod is required but it is a free mod. Elite Mod’s main function is the balance patch support for high level 1v1 scene. However, in addition, it adds some new content too. Bug fixes New faction - Ordo Malleus(Grey Knights) New units, wargears, skills and globals for each faction New unit portraits New army skins New maps A ladder system with ratings And most importantly, community support such as replays casted on KZbin, Regular tournaments and other events with streamers on Twitch, a regulated Discord server and a forum website

Advice for new players 1/ Play on Friday, weekends and during European night time. 2/ Make sure to get the newest patch from releases section of the F. The L is in the video description. 3/ Find players to play with at elite D server. The L is in the video description. 4/ After joining D server, give yourself an initiate tag or completely new tag depending on your preference by going to roles. 5/ And most importantly, add every non-toxic/blaming player you met during an online match as your S friend.

If a new person rely solely on finding a room in public room list, there is a high chance that one will suffer from taking long to find a room and skill mismatches. An optimal way to play in Elite while avoiding two forementioned problems would be like below. 1/ Host a new player room and go to D server's looking-for-games to gather new players for it. 2/ Play some games 3/ Send S friend invite to any and all player who were in your room and were not toxic/blaming. - Doesn't matter if they receive it or not. Keep sending. There is a nice ignore invite button to stop all invites from a player and also invite notification only happens once. These two means invite spam is not a nuisance to anyone. 4/ Repeat Step 1 to Step 3 until you gather about 15 to 20 players in your friend list. 5/ Now, you have power to host a room and fill it up in a minute or two by using both S invite and informing on D any time of the day you want and with players of skills similar to you.

the damage armour type system needs an over haul surely....it seems horribly convoluted and not at all intuitive.

default it isn't very impressive, but try it with biomeltdown active. That's where you get the fun time. "HIT ME! I DARE YOU!"

When eversor first got introduced, default explosion was very strong and received a ton of complaints. That is why it changed to be really strong only when global is cast on him.

This is why orks suck so much in this game on 3v3 , win for all game with no great mistake but if the enemy buy a super unita you are fucked even if u play super good for all game
