🌟 DESCRIPTION🌟
Warhammer 40K Space Marine, the player engages enemies with both melee and ranged from a third-person point of view. The player character, Titus, has regenerative abilities. When his health gets low, performing some actions can allow Titus to regain a portion of his health. Titus is accompanied by the characters Sidonus and Leandros for most of the missions, though some missions are performed alone. The game features a fury meter that, when filled up, grants rapid health regeneration and stronger melee attacks. This ability can later be upgraded with purity seals to improve the duration, the rate at which it recharges and the effectiveness of ranged attacks (slow motion when zoomed, faster fire rate and increased damage).
The starting weapons include a combat knife and a bolt pistol, though the player can acquire other weapons. The game also includes a new weapon not featured in the table-top game known as the Vengeance Launcher, which can shoot sticky fusion grenades.
The game's main antagonists are the Orks and the Forces of Chaos. The Orks are an alien race of brutish warriors. The Forces of Chaos are an even greater threat, and can summon monsters that live in a parallel dimension known as The Warp. Portals conjured by the Traitor Legions allow daemons to enter the battlefield.

@@Grivehn I really enjoyed one of the larger cyberpunk playthroughs using the same type of layout, I cant remember what channel it was though. In my older age I dont really care for games as much, but some newer and older games have a lot better story than many contemporary western movies.

Space Marine 2 trailer Titus has Inquisition sigils and Black Templar chain as well as more battle scars and an extra service stud. So my guess is that he was taken by the Inquisition for Warp resistance and served as a Templar.

@@ArchonOfDoom ya as Rodney said, he broke protocol by going around his chapter and reporting to the Inquisition. Any suspicion of corruption has to be dealt with by the chapter and only if it is deemed necessary by the Chapter is when a inquisitor should be called. With Leandros being a by the book just got out of recruit status Space Marine, he broke a serious rule established by the Chapter and most likely got a lot of hate from other Ultramarines that was there during that event.

One of the best games for PS3, hands down. As for the ending, hated Leandros for breaking protocol. He let his own prejudice and gospel belief in the codex blind him. But everyone who knows the 40K universe knows that anyone touched by the warp is at risk of corruption which is why psykers are treated like they are. But there is another demographic, those unaffected by the Warp mentioned in the books. Nulls. Rare people who are immune to corruption and even some psykers which are also treated like abominations since they are neither 'here nor there'. Titus strikes me as someone with Null-like traits, hence his immunity. A Space Marine with that kind of ability would be sought after by the Inquisition. Either to be destroyed, or harnessed.

@@Techshortz-99 It's currently espected to release Q3/Q4 of 2024. TLDR between the two games: Titus has been demoted to LT but is still in the Ultramarines Chapter. It's the 42nd millennium now and the Indomitus Crusade has been going on. During this crusade, a tyrannid fleet (believed to be a spinter of Hive Fleet Leviathan) appears and starts wreaking havoc. The 4th Tyrannic War has begun.

@@wifeburger Which is weird since it's a old french/english (less so) word which you have to pronounce as it's written and it means the grade below captain, in assistance and speaking for his captain in his absence. It means "holding in its stead" and only the british pronounce it like that. It's some weird mix of old english writing use for its prononciation and yet uses the writing of the new. Well .. not like I would bicker at the brits for one bizarre written word when our french language is full of crazy rules like the circumflex accent, the silent consonants, confused writings pronounced differently and what have you.
