I read this story way back. My 1st 40k army was the orks of the Blast n Stomp Brigade. I painted all their little booties red. I think I even used the actual red ones go faster upgrade in a 3rd edition game once. Thank for the story and the fond memories!

Hah, that was the first thing I learned about Orks, and I implemented that into my fan story too... someone said over the vox:" it's awfully quiet for a garden factory, where are the xenon army?" Company commander came online:" greenskin filth is drawn to where the loudest boom and bang is, they are probably on the other side of the hills fighting the main force, shut your traps, keep your eyes open, and be greatful with any lot of the xenos filth god emperor has willed for you to slay today."

Nice short story, makes you remember that orks have a thought process. What about blue bullets for sharp shooters ("a lucky shot"). And shootas with purple barrels for a suppressor.
