Hi Al. They look mean. I like the colour , it reminds me of the colour of a couple of my old motorbikes. I find that if I use a lighter shade of the base colours on the high spots and put them on as a wash I get the effect that your talking about. I look forward to seeing the Corsair. I lost the canopy of a BAC Lightning that I once built and that was the end of that kit. Good luck.
