There was a world from Ravenor where the entire economy was dedicated to herding pachyderms, large saurians, and other such cattle in order to be sold as meat to the sector capital. Reminded me somehow of a 2000 A.D. comic where people went back in time to rustle dinosaurs for hungry fat people in the future. Whenever they do things like go into detail about the nature of a world, that's one of my favorite things in 40k, and Dan Abnett does it often in his Inquisitor and Gaunt's Ghosts writings.

I love the 2000ad comic reference, early GW was highly influenced by them going so far as to make the adeptus arbites designs directy stolen from judge dredd ( i think they got permisson). As for 2000AD the comic, i could never figure out how to safely detatch the cheesey mini plastic frisbee from the 1st issue, which was good as i got a bit more for it when I had to sell it

GrimDark Narrator Yeah I watched your mini series of 5 vids last night and I loved it! I'm pretty new to 40k and my lore is very sluggish but I like your videos and how you explain things. I'd love to see some of the death worlds in detail, also maybe like cadia and some of the mad ice planets we know of? I just love the lore on the citizens, planets and general life of 40k.

One of my favourites are the abhuman worlds. Ogryn, squats and ratlings are usually seen in small groups away from their home or in their own detachments inside the guard but there are homeworlds where a type of abhumans constitute the majority population, with a baseline cadre of imperial adepts in minority.

I'd love to see some lore concerning some of the sentient alien species that aren't truly powerful enough to do anything against the Imperium, like the xenos worlds you mentioned at the end.

Afraid there isn't much lore available on such "minor" races beyond them just being mentioned in passing. At that point, one might as well be making it up, lol. I will do lore videos on lesser xenos races at some point, though. Things like the loxatl or rak'gol.
