Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 Co-Op Mission: Inferno - Let's Play!

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 is an absolute blast multiplayer, and recently we got a chance to take that mulitplayer for a spin. We pulled together three whelp Ultramarines and sent them out to battle Xenos in this mission entitled Inferno. The briefing is this: Kadaku: Lieutenant Titus has proposed a plan to block the Tyranid advance long enough for a successful withdrawal: detonate a nearby promethium refinery and incinerate the xenos in a tide of burning pitch. Ensure the ambush is a success.

Im strictly watching this for the gameplay okay...😂its hurting me so bad though watching you play 😭 especially on the higher difficulty with your skill level. Makes me feel like the ggame wont be hard.

i recently became a wh40k fan by yt lore videos, and i feel sad now for the game, because it looks really great at first glance but then you see the combat, how it forces you to use melee and these completely unrealistic skirmishes. it simply ruins the original art of war itself. space marines are to be used in legions or at least some regiment, not 3 doom guys master chiefs who combat anyone at melee, even though they have basic chain swords. overall i mean that space marines are space marines. if they wanted to make a game about some spec ops, 40k had much more to offer, starting from specific chapters and librarians, ending at primarchs. and we get is a call of duty but much weirder, thanks

Bruh first off welcome to the Warhammer fandom, but I gotta disagree with your take. The game is amazing and very accurate to the lore and how space marines fight. The feel of 40k is meant to be over the top and intense and ridiculous. If you think the melee in this game is unrealistic you should get familiar with space marines love of melee combat, especially the blood angels. On the chaos side you have the world eaters and followers of Khorne who are almost if not exclusively melee fighters, a la Kharn the Betrayer and Gorechild. Also the game doesn’t force you to use melee it’s meant as a last resort but is also there to diversify combat when you inevitably run low on ammo or want to conserve ammo. The only classes that are more melee focused are the Bulwark and Assault but even then it fits with the lore and they each bring their own twist to the melee combat. Don’t mean for this to be a lecture but yeah thanks for coming to my TED talk 😅

Do you really think that they MUST be in regiments or entire legions to be effective in combat?! Also, "realistic" and "40K" do not go in the same sentence.
