A few weeks ago I started with Martyr (I found it in my Steam library, with all DLC - no idea how it got there, but that is a differetn story...) and I chose the Battle Sister. -> I am new to the game and not very good. I have reached lvl 83 and I play a heat / DOT build too. Long range, because IMO all the medium / short range stuff make me too squishy. Divine Grace is a must have for me. -> Seems like I stumpled over the same build you suggested :) Embodied Saint Form: Personally, I do not use it at all. And I never realized I could change the "Sacred Rites", I saw one that gives you some damage when an enemy is close -> I'll definitly use that. IMO I am too squishy in embodied saint form. I need to get too close to the enemy and I loose my passive that gives me Regen if I applied DoTs to an enemy. It does not feel like an ultimate but more like a suicide form to me. Personally, I enjoy the game a lot, but that my "ultimate" feels weaker than my regular form is quite a disappointment (especially because IMO it looks really cool!). It's time for me to start a little crafting now and I am glad you made a video about it, I'll definitly check it out :)

I will say you CAN change the "weapon" of saint mode for a different one , but I do feel it is still weaker that a proper build . But there are some ways to make a very strong saint form work .

I mean this is a great guide for starting off as are your others, but once you get up in the game, you can mix and match all subclasses of a specific class. Including weapons armor etc etc.

Yes you can . this is more just a quick showcase of what they start with and how the items work that you first get . I normally tell people just sell everything you get till lv. 10 since you tend to level up quick so you use the items for a little bit .

It is an ok weapon , but a better one for the class is the hand flamer and brazier . Lots of DOT , good AOE , and perks for anti-armor . You can truly burn the heretic in holy fire lol !
