Warhammer Online New Player Class Tierlist

A quick tierlist on what classes i personally think are best for new players, and my reasonings why :) having said that, i believe each player should play what the want, in the way they want to.

Content like this is a great way to help new people stick with the game. There’s also a real lack of up to date videos explaining how each class plays in scenarios/RvR and what makes them fun. Anything along those lines, or just high level overviews of why the game is good, is what’s going to grow the population. Keep it up!

Tier lists are great, and I don't even play anymore. It would be cool if you did a tier list for the most notable class abilities in the game and giving a quick explanation of how they work and why they are/aren't effective.

In this game there are not really a lot solo playable classes and it is good that it is like that. This makes group play more important as in any other MMO. The guard mechanic is the best way to make a tank important in PvP. Some classes need a Tank(Guard) to be a killing machine, and without the are relatively helpless like Choppa/Slayer and Bright Wizard/Sorcerer. Old game but still the best RvR/PvP imo.

I know this is a new player guide but i highly recommend BG at some point. Im 40/63 and i have almost every class on destro 40/60+ and I am loving it. Plus they look cool af. One big thing I can say is learn to stack your buffs in a certain order so they dont cleanse off your strong ones. Good luck all!

Hey nice video :) My list would be a little different: All healers are S tier, all damage dealers are A tier and all tanks are B tier excepts BG and IB (C tier). Tanks' role is just much harder to play for new players compared to healing and damage dealing, imo; guard, buff, stagger, KB, KD, challenge, root, run slow, hold the line. I played this game for years and still find healer and damage dealers much easier to play. :)

Are all classes equally needed because of player population? I don't know anyone, so if I wanted to meet people and join a clan, what class would facilitate that?

Grinding my choppa to 40/50. It's my last destro toon to 50+ Definitely not a starter class lol. I am also sick. My mom said walking pneumonia is going around, and that's probably what I got.

I would avoid DoK and WP as a new player. Reasons for that: - They don't heal until CR 20 - They don't do damage until way later in the game. - They don't tank, lack of the defensive talents. - It's really hard to manage resource.

I'm tossing up between kotbs and a melee wp as a scavenging alt. Can't make up my mind what would be faster for farming.

@@caw1337 I’d probably go with knight, wp is good, but knight is kinda invincible and easy to gear for the aoe farming, wp would require significantly more gear

As a knight you just take a shield, turn on reflect aura, slot in a tactic for shield of the sun and then activate that while afking then loot. Doesn't really require any gear as long as you stack block/parry. That's literally how I farmed all my gold on order. WP needs a quite a lot of gear and lacks AOE damage.

oh for sure bud, BO is great in every scenario, just rougher to play when solo

@@notmeheheno yes they are called SCs in this game, they can be just depends on time of day, but always popping once your 40

SC ques are pretty good if you're on at the right time, if not it's slow. Fridays prime time are popping almost instantly.

Yo have chosen and kotbs as top solo pve, but i dont really see any self healing on them. can you explain why they are better than warrior priest at solo pve? im lvl 15.

@@kiljaedyn when paired with regen items, with max parry and very high block you become invincible in pve while also dealing high damage, to the point of being able to solo gunbad and other random lvl 40 event lords and stuff
