@@jonthomasmisevicz1833 I respectfully disagree. I believe heresy comes from hearing things that make absolutely no sense. examples are. Judas betraying Jesus the holy trinity and don’t get me started on Noah and the ark. I am a Christian but I don’t have to believe every single thing that was written down. My best example is when preacher say this is the living Word of God, if this was true, why was it called the king James, version this lead to doubt and confusion, as there has been more than 16 versions of the same work

Wait I didn’t know you did warhammer lore? The Hersey is a very important piece of 40k lore! I really wonder if the emperor wanted to be worship as a God like he is now? Is the emperor secretly evil? And how was he with mankind all this time before he appeared to Us? There’s a lot of questions I wish Games workshop will answer!

I think the emperor now exists as two entities, the physical one which sits on the golden throne and a warp entity formed during the horus heresy. The warp entity is playing the great game against the other gods and the physical entity is whatever is left of the emperor guiding the astronomicon. There's also the dual religions of the imperium, ecclesiarchy and cult mechanicus, which also points to two entities. The golden throne+emperor being the machine gods avatar and the warp entity being the god emperor.
