Me too but I am happy to see 40k is getting to a point where tactics matter more and more...I misplaced final turn and cost the game...but I'm very happy it was that close and both scored high...wait for our recap for this one we talk about that a lot!

The only two anti tank options GK have - are 10man terminator brick with draigo and 3 NDK. It's a miracle that the game ended in a 10-10 scenario. Your 10 man brick shouldn't be doing secondaries. 500+ pts for an action? Madness

Madness! This is WARHAMMER!!!...I get it terminators hit hard but they also are a pain to deal with on objectives...plus playing off mission special rule being able to still shoot and action I could terrafom and try to get lucky with the guns...the moment lane moved the Raider to center I sprung forward to charge it...all in all taking out his vehicles wouldn't have scored me points and there still not the best at it being lower strength...with thatbbeing said the terminators scored me tons of points with 24/41 on primary points for me as well as all the secondaries ...with some of these things require units to survive until the end of opponents turn I really believe we have to rethink scoring unit to have more durability like terminators do. Aside from the primary they also scored a ton on secondary but this hard for me to give an accurate number on how they contributed (sabotage, cleanse, secure, and extend battle lines they where a part of but hard to say which where required)

My play is more on the board how do I maximize my score...I knew going at vehicles would be a loosing battle. To much armor and put me in a bad position. But if I could control portions of the map and feed into card after card I could score heavy...at then end if I just dropped the strike back for behind enemy lines I would have had it...my bigger mistake was not popping the Sigil to get my other squad of terms away...that was the madness that cost me greatly...stick around to see my revamp with DK...this game I wanted to go more MSU to show off as much of PN as we could.

I just came off the meta GK at the end of levithan with 5 DK. Canis Rex is an option I have seen but it is between the two types of builds one with 5 DK bodies the other canis rex...you can check out that list on the channel too

Great game. Loved the secret mission play - and it does feel like it gives a viable "comeback" mechanic that gives slow start armies a chance against those that score quickly. How did you feel about the secret mission ... an improvement from a Gambit?

It was definitely the right choice. Please watch the post game report when it drops as I do add up what I would have scored without the secret mission. The secret missions don’t require a dice roll, giving you much more control over whether or not you can complete them. I anticipate I will use them somewhat frequently. Definitely study up on them. I started marking my score sheet to remind me after round 3 to check them to see if I want to try one.

Grey knights threw away 455 points turn one without any reason...

There was a reason. The play was to push the iron hands to have to make a move. I didn't want him to cover center with tank I couldn't remove so I tried to block with rhino. The interceptors I didn't expect he would rush out aggressors but in turn those turned into secondary points for me as well as getting them off the table. Although we didn't show the dice rolls it was actually close with the strike. Had they survived the boost to points early would have been critical. It was a risk but I had reasons. If I only went for 2 objectives for secure no man's land then the Iron Hands could have put more to bear on those units as well as the terminators. Again it was close the plan almost work and strike almost survived. I didn't think the aggressors where going to come out turn one because I knew I could pick them up if he did.

Now I could have held back I could have just hit secure no man's land and save the interceptors. But part of me didn't anticipate the aggressors coming in...the plan there was once he shot and killed a few I'd pull off the objective so he couldn't shoot more and I would have been staged at the next piece of terrain...if he underdedicated I could have then pulled from back completing the terraform. As far as the rhino i considered not pushing there but again if he underdedicated I terrafrom center and keep his vehicle out of center blocking with rhino That was the though process at least behind it...the rush with aggressors I didn't anticipate
